Picking The Right Name

I have a group name "The SPorts Debate Network" it has over 10,000 sports fans in it from all over. I'm trying to monetize my website with advertisements but I was told that my name has to be changed. I was told Debate is not a money word so advertisers wont like it.

What should I consider when picking my new name?

How do I know that the new name i pick is the right name?

I got a few options but I don't know if any of these would be better than what the name already is

The Sports District
The Sports Entertainment Network
The Sports Fans Network
Overtime Sports Network

You have access to 10,000 people in your niche right now . . . why not ask them to give you feedback. Put out your favorite names, ask them which one(s) they like best or if they have any better suggestions.

    Good luck to you,

This is what I'm thinking. Who told you that?

Advertisers care about your userbase; not what you named your site.

Stop worrying about little things that won't make a difference and worry about what matters: Growing your members.

IMHO I'd worry less about the name having debate in it and more about growing the user base. I personally believe advertisers will come where the people are.

If you've got a site that has 10k in it, you've created a brand, so unless there are copyright issues or something like that, I wouldn't pay much attention to what that person who told you that said. If you do decide to change the name for some reason, ask your audience to vote on it.
