Hello Warrior Forum! I am finally able to make a real contribution to the forum after working hard. I just want to take the time to give the people who have not made any money online, or just a small amount some needed advice. This is for the people who want to make some money online. Please do not take anything that I say in the wrong way. I am just being serious.

1. Stop looking for the get rich quick schemes!
2. Stop buying the next best make $X amount of dollar push button softwares on the market
3. Stop chasing products and put one that you like to a real test. Do not work at it for a week or two and claim that it does not work or is a scam. Work at something for 3 months at least.
4. Make yourself an ACTION PLAN!!!!
5. Do something every day to work on your BUSINESS!!
6. TAKE ACTION!!!!!

So many people online today keep buying products and never take any real action! I used to be one of those people. I know what it feels like to spine your wheels and buy product after product, never really getting anywhere. I then realized finally after getting some real advice that I was failing the system. I was causing my failures and no money. You can never make any money if the train doesn't leave the station. What I mean is, you can keep reading, learning, and buying over and over again! The problem is you never Take The Needed Action to make something work. I failed at taking real action, and most people online fail when it comes to this.

I am now going to give people who want to listen to me some steps to get started! I wish I would have listened to this a long time ago.

You may or may not have heard this before!!!! But please listen up!

Start to build a list. I am not kidding. The sooner you do this the better you will be.

1. Learn how to build a squeeze page to capture your leads.
2. Create a free product to give away for free of REAL VALUE.
3. Build a relationship with your list. Give them so real free tips and tricks. People will trust you when you want to help them.
4. Market to that list. Do this only after you give them something of value. People want to work with real genuine people.

I know these steps seem real basic, but so many people fail to put them into action! This is what you need to get started. As you begin to start the process, you will hit ups and downs, but this goes with the territory. NEVER GIVE UP!!! ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN A DAY!!!

I can not stress this enough, but TAKE ACTION!! Do something everyday to work on your business. If you are a person that likes to buy stuff, then buy stuff that is going to help your business. Buy stuff that will help you write articles, or things that will help you get more tasks done in a shorter time. Outsourcing is something that will help you, not buying the new program for $197 that claims to make you $5,000 a month.

Well everyone, I hope this reaches as many people as possible because it works. I am my own walking testimonial. Some people may think my website and squeeze page is not that great, but I do not care. The reason why is because I am now making money and it FEELS GREAT! I am working on my business each day. I will tweaking my website and squeeze pages more and more as I go along. This is what you do and its part of the business. There is nothing like learning and working at the same time. Ihope this helps some people out. Please leave any comments, or feedback on this thread. I will do my best to take a look when I can because I can say I am finally busy. Thanks for this wonderful post. I must admit that I am guilty of buying WSO, taking a little action and not being consistent. And I always fall on those get rich quick scheme. This is very helpful. And I must admit, your post is a good motivation for me and a wake up call to TAKE ACTION.

Hello - you're absolutely correct and I was one of those people as well; your thoughts & comments is so true and inspiring! Unfortunately, whether in the IM or in life in general people are prepared to put in the effort and time to cultivate and nurture tasks/goals/ambitions to fruition. The first hurdle that's too high for them, they up give and say it does not work.... or make a number of excuses stating why it can't be done.

When you last time browse the NET? Squeeze pages are on every webpage now, people including myself simply lost and freaked out but those "make gazillion $ in 2 minutes" beside those so-called Marketers keep sending messages into our inboxes and keep asking for email? What? Why you asking me for my email address if you already send me a message? Yeah, TAKE ACTION, Create Free product or PLR attract bunch of Free stuff seeking internet bums, which will never order anything in the first place. End up with useless list. Good plan.   Most people buy make money online products because they need money right away(which is what most products promise in the sales letter), so when the product does not work right away, they move on to the next one. I was one of those people but I realized there is no shortcut to success(unless you get lucky). Once I realized this I stopped buying random products that promise the world and started taking action. That was when I started to make my first couple hundred online. Hopefully those who are suffering from shiny object syndrome start to realize that buying a bunch of products and not taking action is just a complete waste of time.

  This couldn't be more true. SNOS is a disease. I finally figured out that buying the next new thing was getting me anywhere. It cracks me up now. When in the heck are you going to have time to figure out all this new software, anyway?
  Pick one system that is real and reliable and stick with it until you are successful. It's amazing how I finally saw the light.

I think most people just need to get started. I'm sure a lot of you can relate.

Most people have that mindset I need to learn just that one more thing then I will be ready to get started.

Honestly you don't need to know anything to get started.

Reading email all day, ebooks even hanging out in forums all day isn't work.

It is research in a way, but more of a distracting.

I been around this forum for year. As much as I would like to hangout here all day, I don't have time because I'm always working. Until about the end of the day. I've done my work for the day.

And now I'm researching and brainstorming analyzing pondering.

Great post, I feel most Newbies fall for the Shiny Object Syndrome - I certainly did - but eventually we all become more discerning about how we spend our money.

As you say Taking Action is the only way to go - even if it's not 100% right, just go for it!

You have made a lot of good points and all that you have just said are true. Many people do want to earn online but not all of them are willing to do the work. They quit when its too early. They fall for get rich schemes, end up being tricked/scammed and then stop their pursuit or quest for making money online. They just generally conclude that its not possible to make money online.

Continue to share your story to everyone and encourage more people. Some might not believe but its not really important.

  Yep. Good basic advice. It's advice we need to hear a lot as we can sometimes over think and complicate a simple thing. You don't become fit (or an athlete) by buying a new pair of runners.
  
  That's called obtaining one of the tools needed to begin training to be an athlete. The same applies to an internet business - there is the software/tools/knowledge and then there is the focus/application & discipline to become experienced and successful.

I'm coming to the realization that many, if not most, buy MMO products as a form of entertainment. Reading an ebook or spending a few hours watching yet more "how to get Google #1" videos fills the same gap as reading mysteries or science fiction for others. It allows the buyer to escape their day to day life and put themselves on that beach with the umbrella drinks while the money just keeps pouring in. They can tell themselves, and keep telling themselves, that they "just haven't found the right system yet."

The hard drive of a serial MMO buyer is just like the bookshelf of the genre fiction addict - filled with multiple titles, often by the same author, that have been read once and shelved in favor of the new titles.

Getting to complain, bitch, whine, kvetch, etc. about being lied to and ripped off is just a side benefit...

(Not saying you specifically are doing any of those things. But posts that fit that description ain't exactly hard to find, right?

Those are great tips you have presented there my friend. It is very important especially, an internet newbie to start on the right path before getting sucked in to all those garbage that is out there. People are motivated when they see results and the quicker the results the more motivated they are. I encourage all internet newbies to seek out sound knowledge about making money online before wasting your time and hard earn money on rubbish. forums are always a good place to start. You will certainly have the opportunity to head different people from all part of the world voiced their opinions and share what soever knowledge they have on the topic.

Kevin, Good on you mate, I couldn't have said it better myself, and I also was one of these types that kept buying wso's and when things got complicated and tough, I would give up and jump on to the next best "money maker" so I gave up thinking like that and chose one that I knew would interest me and stuck at it. Three weeks later I was making money, mind you it was only small like $50 a week, but then I worked at promoting it day after day and I haven't looked back since. Thanks for the reminder of how it used to be for me. It's good to look back and compare to where I am now.

These are all great tips.

I would only add 2 things:

1. If you're going to build a list, choose a tight niche that you're
genuinely interested in.

When you're building a business you want everything you do to
benefit you in multiple ways.

You can do that by becoming a leader in one niche. That way
every product, every giveaway, every new email you create can
be promoted to everyone on each of your lists and everything
you create builds your status as an expert in that niche.

2. Get really good at ONE thing.

So many people spin their wheels because they're jumping from
one strategy to the next.

If you focus on getting good at copywriting, or pay per click or
SEO...just one strategy for an extended period of time you'll
develop some real valuable skills and that will help you enormously.

As someone who has "taken action" for over 10 years now, I can tell you that
that's not all there is to it, unfortunately. If you take action on the wrong things
your business will suffer and possibly collapse, no matter how hard you work.

Case in point.

I submitted articles to directories for years. Got tons of views and built a list
in the thousands. Then Google put the hammer down on them and views and
opt ins dried up. No matter how much I wrote, I wasn't getting anymore opt ins.

You have to take action on the RIGHT THINGS. Working hard means nothing if
you're working hard on a lost cause.

My 2 cents for whatever they're worth to anybody reading this.

Steven you are right, but so many people just do nothing, and stay in the same rut. At least if they start to do something the wheels will begin to move. Since articles were no longer working, then move on to something else. This is why I do not put all my eggs in one basket for traffic.

Yes, taking action is much more complex than telling someone to get off their ass.

You need to plan and research and make sure you are taking action in the right areas, as I agree over the years I have taken action and been up late at night when I was starting and realised I was taking action on the wrong things, sites.

No matter how many times you hear it in here, it simply yes, taking action does not just mean taking any sort of action, you have to take the right sort of action, in the right areas, at the right time.

Yeah, you kind of left out the most important part....traffic. Taking action by building a squeeze page with a free offer attached isn't going to get one person on your list unless you get people to the page. I'm assuming you left that part out because you don't really know how yourself.

On the bright side, at least you didn't charge for this info while leaving out this very critical element like a recent "passive" wso did, lol.

Thank for sharing this very inspiring post. I agreed that things will only happen when action is taken. At the start, I will focus the majority of the time on traffic generation activities so that the flow of the traffic will be consistent. Once it is consistent, I will start to track the conversion so that I will be able to tweak my website to get the best conversion. Just my 2 cents.

  MrKitty----I did not leave the traffic out. I was giving a real breakdown and true advice. Traffic is important. This goes with the taking action. I did not say the word exactly, but I was meaning that when I also talked about taking action. Taking action meaning things to improve your business, like building a funnel, a squeeze page, making videos, writing articles and content, etc.... Taking Action as in doing things to get you going.

I know these steps seem real basic, but so many people fail to put them into action! This is what you need to get started. As you begin to start the process, you will hit ups and downs, but this goes with the territory. NEVER GIVE UP!!! ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN A DAY!!!

I can not stress this enough, but TAKE ACTION!! Do something everyday to work on your business. If you are a person that likes to buy stuff, then buy stuff that is going to help your business. Buy stuff that will help you write articles, or things that will help you get more tasks done in a shorter time. Outsourcing is something that will help you, not buying the new program for $197 that claims to make you $5,000 a month.

Well everyone, I hope this reaches as many people as possible because it works. I am my own walking testimonial. Some people may think my website and squeeze page is not that great, but I do not care. The reason why is because I am now making money and it FEELS GREAT! I am working on my business each day. I will tweaking my website and squeeze pages more and more as I go along. This is what you do and its part of the business. There is nothing like learning and working at the same time. Ihope this helps some people out. Please leave any comments, or feedback on this thread. I will do my best to take a look when I can because I can say I am finally busy. You hit the nail on the head there buddy, It took me 3.5 years and over $9,000 to learn this.
