How to Get Affiliates?

Hi there,

I'm starting to get into product creation and would like to know:
Can someone share the ways or recommend a course on how to recruit affiliates to promote your products?

    You can go through an affiliate system like Clickbank, JVZoo, WarriorPlus - and it's kind of "easy" to get affiliates that way.

    Another way to gain affiliates is to have a JV/Affiliate contest. Take a look at MunchEye to get an idea of how folks are recruiting affiliates.

    Then - there are databases of affiliate programs. Just use Google and you'll find them. List your affiliate program within those databases.

    If your product/affiliate program is successful - word of mouth will occur, and you'll recruit affiliates that way as well.

    That's how I go about it.

        Ways to get Affiliates:

        1. Post your Ad in JV/Affiliate Forums like warriorjv.com, jvnotifypro.com, jvlaunch

        2. Contact Admin of these and ask to send out an Email to affiliates $$$

         3. Post in JV Zoo Forum--Free

        4. Place Ad in WSO Pro $$$

         5. Join JV Groups of above Forum, request Ad at Top of group and pinned

        If that don't nail it for you, nothing else will

    These days you need to "bribe" the affiliates with contests (especially for the list gurus) but more importantly to have banners, videos, demos and even review copies.

    Make their life easier and they will promote in hoards!

    If you have several OTOs offer 100% commissions for upfront sales. You can playaround with that strategy like puting a limit for the first 20 affiliates or something like that

    Recruiting affiliates is all about relationship building.

    The same way you make friends in the offline world and those friends would then be willing to do you favors. That's how affiliate marketing works as well.

    Sure, you can get the odd random affiliate posting your offer around places but the affiliates that really matter and will bring you the majority of your sales are those you connect with and build a relationship with over time.
