While I've heard that safelists are not as safe as we think, what are your experiences with safelists? Do they work well?

Somehow I got my main email sold to a safelist and I keep getting spammed with affiliate links. Come to think of it, it seems like some cheap way to advertise.

Please share your experiences, thanks

Any reputable safelist (or any company for that matter) will not buy emails.

I've built my entire mailing list and income through free traffic sites like safelists and traffic exchanges, so definitely worth the time... particularly if you don't like doing other types of traffic generation like SEO, article writing, linking, etc.

If you don't think they work, just do some research and you'll find several of the biggest names in IM still use sites like safelists and traffic exchanges to grow their business.

With safelists you are basic trying to sell to other people who are trying to sell. Not the best venue for targeted traffic. However, if you have a strong offer, particularly for a free product or software, you can get some responses and build up a list, but it can be slow going. The best "luck" I've had has been with ListDotCom.com
