Ways to make money from a forum with a large user base

Hello, how would one start to earn money from a forum that recived a fairly high amount of trafic?

For example how much would you make from adverts ect?

Also thinking about spefic afilite links, as the users are interested in fitness, some links to supplement websites ect.

But if anyone has any other ideas/ methods would be greatly welcome and apprecated.

    The most common method to monetize a forum is by renting ad spaces, adsense, promoting affiliate products using banners, ask for donation or have members area for monthly fee by providing value, or have a section where you sell your own products. About links to supplement websites, you can take ad fees from those websites.

    I would personally try to collect email addresses of your users by giving them a free report about their interest. Then I would send them valuable emails and once in a while send them an affiliate offer or a self made product.

    This way you can start a longterm online business than can earn you money all year long .
