English 2nd language sales letter mistakes

ha ha funny! I have not seen one yet. There are alot of ways to get by 2nd language faux pas;
1- Use Google Translate
2- Pay someone on Fiverr
3- Contact English speaking warrior Friend

Those two are typically ways of causing these accidents, not ways of avoiding them.

That's a way of avoiding them. But someone whose first language is English would say "Contact an English-speaking Warrior friend".

I guess the above example illustrates exactly this approach. Suppose that the best way is to work on the language. And if the person isn't sure in the quality, it's better not to take a risk. Guess that such kind of ads will have a negative impact on the sender of the e-mail.

Any translation or spinning software has its own limitations. The ultimate translator or spinner is a person proficient in that particular language.

My English is not 2ed language is third language. I use software to check and autocorrect, but nothing compare with someone with English first language.

So I have to options: ask an English friend or hire someone with English first language, but here is a problem I must to hire other to check the first person

)

Maybe major of you with English first, not realize how many advantages you have in this world and on the Internet, a good advice for anyone who ask himself about how to make money and what skills he/she have, the language is a best and simple beginning!

Ha Ha! True Story...In 1984 I moved to the US from England on a student visa. Policy at that time, maybe even now, was that all college students on a student visa must take and pass the ESL class. I don't have a problem with the policy in general, but practically speaking, did I really need an American instructor to teach me how to read and write in ENGLISH? After all, I spoke the Queens English. There was an Australian student in the class also. So he and I played along for the entire 6 gruesome weeks. We acted like we couldn't speak a lick of English at the beginning. Our goal was to start out acting like we didn't know any English the first week and be fluent speakers by the 6th week. Although the policy was obviously flawed, the instructor was very keen and wasn't fooled by our tactics. After 3 weeks she had enough of me and my Australian friend. She told us not to return to class until the final day to take the "exam". ESL was the easiest class I have ever taken in college. Damn, I miss those days!!! hahahahah

That's funny. I had an American history professor that was from New Zealand. Oddly enough, she knew more about American History than any American I have ever met.

To the best of my knowledge, you wouldn't have to do an ESL as long as English is your first/primary language, having applied to a few American colleges myself (and coming from a country no one has probably hear about before!)

I ended up going to a UK university though

It's not only people with ESL issues that have problems with their content. I often see threads and posts that have copious mistakes but I don't make a comment as I know many people don't like having their mistakes pointed out to them.

But I am happy to do it if they pay me.

lol

I think a worse case is when people believe their English is good or they don't bother to check their spelling before they publish.

On the other hand, English speakers in the USA overwhelmingly speak only one language, and don't have any plans to change that. This will be a big problem in the long run, because this wiki Languages used on the Internet - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia shows that other language usage on the web is expanding exponentially. Yes, English speakers have the edge now, with 55% of all web content being written in English,
but with only 27% of web users being English speakers.

Don't trust any software, it is not accurate all the time. I have seen many mistakes in Google Translations. It will be better to hire a person who's language is English.

Agreed - I also see mistakes all the time in Kindle books that a spellchecker couldn't catch and only a native English speaker would see right away.
