How would YOU make $100 per week?

Hey Warriors,

I know you are an eclectic bunch, so if you had to make $100 per week NET profit, what would you do to reach that target?

Mail a promotion to my list...

But, I guess you mean starting from scratch?

If so I would offer a service. I would advise anyone to do the same if they need to start making money this week.

    Freelance writing.

If you are doing it JUST to make $100 per week, then that's quite possible without even having to make ANY investment.

If you want to do it seriously (and make $100, or even $1000 per week) then you only need to invest in some decent hosting and email/list servers, something that will only set you back around $200 or so

U left out info, do you have cash to spend during that week? Which your return will cover expense and NET you $100?

If not, I agree with 4dayweekend > freelance writing or webdesign is ur best shot. You may be suprised to know how many businesses or family members in your area need this service. tart there + earn well over $100 per week + build portfolio

If I was starting over again and needed to make $100 in a week, I'd go down the service route. I'd use sites such as Elance, Odesk, etc. and look for article writing gigs. No investment required, just a bit of patience and some first class examples to show off.

I'll be interested to see what everyone else suggests

I have to agree. The best way to go would probably be to offer some sort of service. I'm not sure if article writing could earn as much as some other services, but it might have the widest appeal.

In a week? From scratch? I would find a good affiliate product and promote it directly. If paid traffic isn't allowed then I would promote it with youtube. Right now it's relatively easy to get free traffic from there.

Go to warriors for hire section, browse through in demand services and use the search function of the forum to learn the skill.
Post an offer offering to do the service for free in exchange of testimonials and feedback.
Finally, dress up your service by seeing how others are doing, emulating them and driving traffic to your service from within the forum.

Depending on the weather, I go to the largest/nearest city and ask people for spare change. I bet I could get $100 in a single day.

If I was trying to build a sustainable, online business, I'd do some research and start thinking long term while working at least a part time job.

If you have nothing but time and the need is urgent then I'd suggest, like the others, to offer a service. There are plenty of services you could offer, writing seems to be the top suggestion here so far and it is a solid choice. If you're not a great writer then you just have to put in the time/effort to become one as it is a skill most people can learn.

If the need isn't urgent and there is a bit of money to invest, need webhosting, then I'd probably look for some long-tail keywords in a few niches I'm interested in with low competition so I can build sites around them. I'd write and post an 800+ article targeting my main keyword each day for a few weeks and then start writing articles that target other keywords related to the my niche and post them on a daily basis. With good quality content posted every day, or even every other day, you should be able to rank on the first page of Google within a few months and start bringing in good traffic to your site. At this point you can monetize it with Adwords or Amazon and keep building on this until you achieve your desired income. This is one of the cheaper ways of making money, in my opinion, and can still be effective as long as you are providing great content to your visitors and not just re-spinning other articles that are out there.

    Jon.

I would have agree with a lot of what is mentioned in the responses at one point or another, but that's until I use what I use now and promote. It makes everything so much simpler. So since you asked, that's the honest truth.

But in general terms (to try to not overly promote hah), I'd say find something that is basically already set up for you and doesn't cost a lot or anything upfront and learn how to get traffic to it, period.

Freelance write, work customer service from home, do website testing or search engine evaluations, find a high paying, good converting affiliate program and market the heck out of it. $100 is not so much- there are a lot of jobs out there that don't require leaving the house. Most pay at least $10 an hour so at most you'd have to work 10 hours a week. No problem!

Depends on the resources you have and efforts you want to put in.

For example, just mailing to my list will give me lot for than $100 a week so what I have here is a list so I'll make $100+ a week with my list.

As you've asked what WE will do to make $100 a week and that's it.

now focusing on a quick way to make $100 a week is to sell services, learn some awesome things on the internet, making animated videos, photoshop etc. and sell your services for a less price as compared to other people. you'll see a decent flow of money every week lot more than $100.

    Good luck!

If you have a list of at least 3,000 this is no problem, just send them an affiliate offer every week.

Starting from scratch I'd agree with most people about services, content creation, building blogs etc.

But for something more long term definitely the traditional list building route.

I would select an affiliate product to promote. Next create and rank a site based on trending traffic. Finally work on conversions until I reached my goal.

1st let me share a quick short story:

I created a product about traffic (ninja tricks, no gimmicks) and went to JV Zoo & Clickbank. I searched for all the products that were getting poor results and I sold them the course. I just used Optimizepress & paypal.

It worked for some and didn't work for the lazy ones, as always. The people I can think of who are desperate for traffic at the moment are people who are promoting MLM products. If you can create a sales page about how much you (or anyone) lost in solo ads scams and now you have a solution (but make sure it works) then you have a winner. I'm talking about products such as Level One Marketing, Empower Network, Dot Com Secrets X, Pure Leverage etc. Those people need traffic they already have the system.

If traffic is not your niche then find a desperate market within your niche. Internet Marketing is all about solving people's problems. If you have that, then you have a winner.

Just find any problem and see how you can create a service to solve it, a service that will make you a $100 a week. If you sell your service for $17 you will need 6 buyers a week or 2 people per day to reach your target.

Hope that gives you some ideas and help others in the forum as well.

    Peace!!

per week? why not per DAY?

I would start with PPC in the finance niche, where you get paid upto $120 PER LEAD ( no credit card required) think loans & insurance. Its a big niche you can make alot of money from it.

The problem with most beginners is that they think FREE is the way to start making money. Although i personally started free, I made waaay more money with Paid traffic.

I've had many people approach me for help online and I always recommend them to start PPC even if they are completely new. I want everyone to get into the mindset that PAID traffic is the way to go. It's how the big dogs to it too!

    cheers

As a designer I would contact online business that show signs of regular activity (development) and recommended a redesign of their content with some samples. In terms of marketing, maybe try creating a decent ebook and try to sell at least 10 per week. I suppose you could even create an ebook reviewing a wide range of popular marketing strategies if you have nothing original to write about.

    Good question DevEdge!
Here my secret: I making 75-100 dollars/week selling some services at Microjobs site named Mercadillo5. But the major part of earning are coming from affiliate marketing through my affiliate link within the same site. Mercadillo5 has an awesome affiliate program including great tools that make this task very easy. So, here the deal: if you have 1000 affiliate registered under your affiliate link, and each of them are making one sale for only $5/month, you´ll make $500/month. Remember that into this site, people are selling services for prices between $5 and $60. Awesome, isn´t it?
Of course, I didn´t reach yet that amount/month because this affiliate program is so young - 7 months only. Now, just I am working hard to spread my affiliate link over the net and learning more things about affiliate marketing each single day.
So, I encourage you to take action and to give it a try! Mercadillo5
    Good luck
