Why aweber autoresponder? Not my own?

Hi everone,

I set up my autoresponder with some simple php code and HTML.

Why most user from here tell to use aweber?
Because is more good or because lot of people Don't have the skills to set up one?
I think if I pay a hosting why to pay for aweber or other services?

    One too many spam complaints and your domain is blacklisted. Listen, I understand why you're antsy. Many people are banging the GMAIL EMAIL CHANGE drum to SCARE people into going self-hosted. Don't fall for it. Going with a trusted AR means you have their resources and clout to ensure your stuff is whitelisted.

    There's a better chance that Aweber emails will make it to their inbox.

    Plus, your hosting company will limit how many emails you can send. Is your autoresponder throttled to be within their hourly limits?

    The mechanics of setting up a self-hosted autoresponder are not the main problem. Scripts exist for those who cannot or choose not to cook up their own.

    The problem in today's market is keeping your delivery rates high. Stumble, or miss a hoop, and you end up on blacklists or have major servers block your domain.

    There are also security issues. Even the most professionally run servers might be hacked and sensitive information stolen.
