Would someone review my site please?

Jake, not sure if anyone else can really tell you if it's going to be profitable, because a lot more goes into success than just an idea or a niche.

Others won't know you or your ability to constantly take action.

But one way to tell if your idea is profitable, try to match it up to as many as these as possible...

1. are your prospects experiencing pain or problems?
2. Does your product/service solve a problem or fulfill a desire?
3. Is there a large amount of reachable people
4. Is this group of people actively looking for a solution?
5. Are there already products in that market?
6. Are there large enough profit margins?
7. Is there repeat business potential/backend sales potential?
8. Is it a market where you can offer other products and services to prospect?
9. Is it easy to deliver to the prospect?

Yes you can send me the site link and I can check out few parameters ( which you can check as well)
1. How many pages your site has?
2. What about the Meta tags, descriptions etc.
3. Is there any blog attached
4. How about the landing page, if it is properly made or just any content written
5. What is the keyword density in the content of your page?
6. Have you included LSI keywords
7. Are social plugins there for easy sharing?
8. What about the navigation? Are they user friendly?
9. Is on page optimization proper ( includes meta tags as mentioned above, then h1, h2 tags, alt tags for reading images and so on)
And so on.... You can send me the link. I will check it for you

I'm mainly looking for what kinds of revenue streams you guys think could work?

I've written and done everything myself so far, I can keep popping out articles on caffeine related topics, but I want a solid revenue plan figured out first.

So far all I've got is ads and affiliate marketing. What else can I tie into this?

I was thinking I could eventually get into doing coffee/tea reviews and coffee maker/tea maker reviews.

Any thoughts appreciated, be brutally honest I can take it.

You can always create your own product, Also If I overlooked it I didn't see any opt-in forms on your site to start getting subscribers.

If your not the only one selling anything of this type then sure it can be profitable, If I was you though I'd get straight on to your list building asap because I wish I did when I first got started in this business.

Thank you, yes it's in my sidebar right now kind of low on the page. I know I need a better spot for it eventually, but im not getting traffic right now anyways, just writing content.

Yeah, I see it now. It most definitely needs to go to the top of where your New Articles is at because your opt-in form needs to be one of the first things a person see's when they land on your blog.

1) Change the theme. It looks outdated.

2) There's no shame in the game of writing content based on search keyword queries (kw sniping) but it appears there a CONTRADICTORY IMPRESSION you create on your blog. If you don't understand what I am talking about, read your blog posts' titles...

I see what you mean, a lot of them are about the negatives of caffeine when they should be positive(or at least one or the other)

Actually it lacks all what I said:

Meta Description: Its just one thing repeatedly written everywhere; in title, in description etc. Description must contain keyword and it should be up to 160 characters. H1 tags and all are absent.. In all I can say you need to get it at least on page SEO done. Its must as images must be named with keywords as else how crawlers are going to see your site.

Why don't you get its on-page SEO done by any SEO provider? Its not very expensive and just once done will help you for ever. Off page you can do by your own, like sharing your links on FB, participating in good forums and so on.

Let me know if you want to know more about things precisely as then I can develop a YouTube Video for you exclusively and share the link. May be it can help other newbie facing same problems.

I was under the impression that my meta description contained all my keywords, I'm using SEO by YOAST. Where do you see that they don't contain keywords? All image filenames also contain keywords along with the alt text.

You're right about the h1 tags, though. I started at h2 because h1 was bigger than my posts' title. Is that an issue?

No, I can't see any keyword in description. You can see it in the source of your page by using Ctrl+U and then finding description by using Ctrl+F.

<meta property="og:description" content="Crazy Camel With Serious Caffeine Info"/>

This is the description you will find in your site. Here neither there is any keyword ( hope you have first checked the relevant keywords for your website through Google Adwords) and it is even not of 160 characters as I stated.

Yeah, I think a much more stand out, in your face optin form would be great.

I took a quick look and there looks like there's a few coffee forums out there.

If you start reading around, maybe you'll find common questions or issues that people are always posting about and you can compile the answers in an ebook or guide. And get some graphics created for it so it looks legit! This may help give you some perceived authority.

Then, (depending on their forum rules) maybe you can make a mention of your site/ebook in the signature and be active in the forum so people see it.

That could start bringing you in some very targeted traffic other than SEO traffic.

If you start getting some subscribers, you can start testing some Amazon affiliate offers or something like that. Maybe you can promote different espresso or coffee machines or whatever...Not sure what's good, but you can start testing stuff out and maybe bringing in a few sales that way.

Just some ideas...I know this isn't necessarily a site critique but on the subject of monetizing it, that could be a way to help. Without knowing the coffee niche it's hard to say how something like that would work out but you never know.

This is strange. I'm using SEO by Yoast and I have set meta descriptions for everything on my site. Why wouldn't they be showing up?

Edit: Actually it's only like that for my homepage. For my homepage do I want to do just one focus keyword like all of my posts, or put a bunch in there?

I can't tell you what will work for sure, only the strategy that I've seen recommended lately.

That is: long, detailed, unique reviews. You could review different online coffee providers, tea stores (Adagio comes to mind), sources for those little individual Keurig cups, coffee machines, tea kettles, energy drinks, caffeine pills, whatever floats your boat. Just make the content you provide interesting and, most importantly, useful. With your domain name, you can easily play on the personality of a camel running the site and storing as much caffeine as it can in its humps, you get the idea.

Amazon product reviews would be the easiest to work on, but if you do this, don't crank out the standard 400-word rewrite of the product description. Make them 1000 to 1200 words, packed with unique content you pull from Amazon and third-party site reviews, explanations of features, delve into the warranty, talk about how much the product weighs and would cost to ship from eBay... think about all the information you'd want to know if you were buying a

$170 coffee maker or

$275 coffee-of-the-month club .

Hope that helps give you some content ideas. You have a broad enough domain name that you should never run out of ideas.

Thank you, very useful information. The reason I used a camel was so I can brand myself and make myself different than other competitors in my niche. I'm going to be making videos that will include the camel in some silly kind of way.

The amazon reviews thing is a great idea I hadn't thought of that.
