Google analytics problem

Google Analytics shows that my blog have 100 visits per day, while Histats, StatCounter and blogger statistics show that my blog have 2000 visits a day. I really think I have 2000 visits a day, because most of them come from Stumbleupon and Facebook.

Can someone can tell me why Google Analytics shows less visits, and if I can fix it?

    Hey Barickiza,

Check for pageviews and unique visitors, and learn the diffrence between them.
1 unique visitor might visit 100 pages...

You're probably getting 2000 page views per day but only 100 unique visitors. Also, keep in mind that Google Analytics tries to weed out stats on bots whereas other services will count them as visitors.

I checked, I have 2000 unique visits and 2,600 page views (on Histats and StatCounter). One of my posts went viral on Stumbleupon, in the last three weeks, I got 1800 likes on Stumbleupon. In the beginning, Google Analytics showed that I had 1300 visits a day, and then out of nowhere started to show 100 visits.

Sometimes Placing the code in wrong place will lead wrong Data Calculations. New Analytics universal tracking codes are place before the </head> tag of the website.

I have a similar problem. Google Analytics is not showing traffic from my youtube videos, which makes up most of my visitors. I guess I need to email support or something. I just ignored it for now, but it really is strange.

Most of web-based tools show page-views, not visitors. Analytics data more reliable than Histats, StatCounter and blogger statistics.
