Google Pagespeed - Any Experiences Good or Bad?

My WordPress sites were not getting good marks for speed so my ISP for my dedicated server said use Google Page Speed.

Must say my WordPress site is amazingly fast now but Pinterest is not happy. Seems when I use the Pinterest upload button . . . my url is now something like:

http://www.domain.com/wp-content/upl....ic.someid.jpg

Questions:

1. Did I just give rights to my content and images to Google?

2. Will that impact my ranking in other search engines?

3. What happens to my SEO?

Anyone with experiences good or bad after making the change? Did you have more revenue or less after a switch to pagespeed? Not sure if I should switch back

Have you tried wordpress supercache? It creates static versions of a lot of your pages to improve speed.

I am using W3 Total Cache with Pagespeed. Pagespeed is definitely a speed improvement over just w3 Total Cache.

Have zero problems with the speed . . . just wondering what I did to SEO and content/image ownership

Super cache is a nice thing. I was on shared hosting whilst using page speed and they suspended my account for increased bot activity from Google, not a very pleasant experience because I got my site back only after removing page speed. But you are on dedicated server and it should be ok with you

    Thanks seekdefo . . . . good to know . . . won't try this on a shared environment.

So far after 1 day I see a slight increase in revenue . . . could just be the day but appears that users might like faster sites.

Google still hasn't improved my site health rating on page speed. Might take a few days for them to update.
