What size is your list?

Just a few questions to help me better understand...

1. How big is your list?

2. Do you focus on a niche? If so, what niche?

3. How many new subscribers do you add on a daily basis?

4. Do you use paid traffic?

I recently made some modifications to my landing page and tweaked my traffic sources, and I'm now adding around 3 or 4 subscribers per day. Before that, I was only getting 3 or 4 people per week.

My list is a bit different, being a B2B list with some posts representing compagnies with 250.000 employes.

    1. Short and in a mess
    2. Yes: Leading Change
    3. On a good day, 5 new items based on cold calling.
    4. No.

I am making changes and plan to do more lead-capture online. Just not there yet.
Main change will be to make better use of what I have.

    1. Size of my list - Well, I know lots of people think size matters but here's the long and short of it. My list is 14,000 in one niche. So not small but not large either. HOWEVER, I regularly delete people from this list and ask people to unsubscribe. Why? Because I only want people on my list that are active. I will send out an email once a month to those people who haven't opened my emails for some time. If they still don't open it then good bye, they get deleted. This means the 14,000 I have are HIGHLY responsive.

    2. Yes. Just the one niche at the moment although I'm currently working on projects in different niches but haven't launched just yet. I've also set up seperate AR accounts for those new niches so it's all seperate and easier to manage.

    3. Some days I'll get 1 new subscribers, others will be 10-20 on organic and then it might be 500-750 with a decent adswap.

    4. No paid traffic for me thanks.

Gotta say, GREAT idea. I was wondering how i could start weeding out unresponsive subscribers. This never crossed my mind before. Nice tip!

My list is small. It was around 560. I did a search and found out there were 150 people that hadn't opened an email from me in 6 months. Went ahead and deleted them.
