New to Affiliate Marketing!

Hi,
as the title says,iv'e been looking into Clickbank as a main source supplier, looking into Keywords, then on to writing articles to promote their products, then 'trying to find' articles pre writen by others to use for my products, prroblem is none of the articles match the Clickbank products! I'm not an experience writer of Articles either, where to go from here?

On the subject of 'Keywords',i'm finding this very tough...
A Guy said to me...Find a keyword with say..3000+ searches per month, then write the keyword with "++++" then search again....still the competition was VERY high!????
Love to get into Affiliate marketing,as i've seen the PROOF that Clickbank Affiliates can and do make money...I am patient and am fully prepared to work hard to succeed..But where do i really start?????
Any help greatly appreciated.

uuugghhh.....where do we start......??? Go and check out Mark Ling's stuff, or Matt Carter, or Geoff Shaw. There are heaps of Clickbank products that can get you started as well. There are lots of WSOs that will give you a micro model to follow. There are even some free WSOs that only require an email.

Here is one that I found - I have not bought it, but it seems to cover the basics you need.... http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...che-sites.html

Keep reading the WF you will get lots of ideas.

Best advice I can give you is - find one model and staick with it. Dont get shiny object syndrome where you jump to the next product all the time and never stick with anything.

If you really want to start with article marketing ( which is good) you have to start writing articles with rare keywords or long phrases (long tail) Don't start with those keywords with +3k searches per month coz you won't be able to hit first page of google which means that you won't have any traffic.

    There's no question about that.

This obviously puts the odds in your favor.

Please excuse the observation that at the moment, you're misdirecting yourself about "articles", because you have some seriously out-of-date information from somewhere, I'm pretty sure. Articles aren't about products. (Nobody will choose to publish an article that promotes a product, and articles that other people - who already have the targeted traffic you hope to attract - don't choose to publish aren't going to do you much good). Articles should be about some aspect(s) of the niche, not about products.)

Key concept: article marketing has almost nothing to do with SEO.

If it helps you, here's a one-post overview of what article marketing is: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post5035794

The best way to get started with affiliate marketing is to focus on building a Real Online Business.

Here's the truth. Affiliate marketing is not about writing articles or any other promotional strategy. It's not about SEO, PPC, ezine advertising etc etc.

It's about building a business for the long term.

Now, there are various models that you can choose to use to build your online business. But whichever you choose, I would suggest that you focus on doing 2 things very well.

      1. Building a list. You will need to create a traffic generation plan and then direct all that traffic to a squeeze page that captures emails.

      2. Once people are on your list, you will need to educate them. If you are an expert promoting products in your field of expertise, this will be easy. If not, you may have to find some quality private label rights products that you can use to create the content for your emails.

If you focus on doing these 2 things, including taking surveys from your subscribers to find out what they really want, you will be able to promote products successfully to them.

Because the hidden truth is that your ability to successfully promote products will depend on your RELATIONSHIP with your subscribers.

A great course to teach you how to build a real online business and market your own and other people's products is:

      www.followupsellingsystems.com.

Alternatively, if cash is currently an issue, then www.associateprograms.com will help you get started.

But I really recommend Followup if you can manage. Some of the information in there is insanely profound.

      To Your Eminent Success!
