All depends on your niche, I guess.

You can always set up Google Alerts from there you could post news related stories(if it fits your niche).

There is just about an endless supply of pictures out there(funny/meme's) that seem to get a lot of shares/likes (again would depend on your niche)

A good way to add content to a facebook page is to add your blog posts automatically via the wordpress plugin NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster.

It's a great way to syndicate your posts without having to copy/paste links or write out content twice.

You should be creating your own content based on research you undertake yourself, that way people will get familiar with your writing style and personality and build rapport and trust with you, which is where most of the value is in your online business.

Just a thought, but on the first place, why would you market something on FB you're not familiar with? At least, hire someone who's familiar with your niche so that person can manage your social media account or better yet, write content for you.

I just grab information from Google and make Images with all these information and a short description. Also sometime I follow other fan pages on my niche.

We write contents for our blog, that content we use to post at Facebook also. But apart from that you can search about latest news update or blog posting on your niche and post them to Facebook.

Thanks for all your comments so far. but wouldn't be wrong copying someone else update via content or image and using it on your fan page?. i guess they will find out later and it may effect your fan page negatively. Though Am just thinking about that.

one of the best ways to keep a Facebook page updated ins to post about current trending topics that are relevant to your niche. this may include an image or a thought-provoking question to encourage your followers and readers to comment. you will not just keep your page update, you can also keep interactions and conversations going.
