Monitoring Banner Ad Placement

For those members who are into banner advertising, how do you monitor for positional changes / deletions of your banner ads. on different sites

For example, if you're into banners adverting and you have say 20 banners ads placed on different pages of different websites, how do you monitor them for unauthorized positional changes, or deletions.

Since you're paying for the specific placement of your banners on specific pages of a website, how will you know if the site owner moves, or deletes your banners altogether?

Of course I know you can manually visit each site every few days to check that your banners are placed on the pages that you are paying them to be on, but does anyone know of an automated solution that can monitor and check all banners you have placed on all websites, and then report to you any positional changes, or deletions.

I would just setup tracking and make sure you check it every few days. If you notice a big drop in traffic or no traffic then you'll know to go and check things. With any type of paid ads you really should be checking your stats very frequently anyway so you will notice any big changes.

A simple program for tracking is Ad Trackz Gold

I agree with Will to check it on a consistent basis. If there are a X number of traffic coming to your website on a daily basis and it suddenly drops, something must have happen. I personally think using Adtrackz Gold script is more than enough for your tracking purpose.

I know it's an antique, but i use hypertracker lol

Pretty much what the guys already said.

Only other way and best way is to use an adserver like AdShuffle so you can see your daily impressions.

However, not all site owners will be willing to put the javascript or iframe code on their site bc either they're lazy, dont know how, or just dont want to give you the ability to rotate multiple creatives.

Just keep an eye on it. Or if you're too lazy to take 3 minutes out of your day to do it, pay someone else lol
