Hey guys im new to this forum. I am looking forward to learning a lot from this forum. I have a quick question What are some free traffic getting strategies I could use to get people to my blog.

    There are many different ways to drive traffic to the website and I will recommend that you stay Focus on mastering One method at a time. Too often, most people will learn too much until they become confused and they did not take any action. It will be better idea to decide on one method to master and just stick to it.

    Over years, I've learned the best ways to get free traffic is always different for different kind of sites. I've seen people do wonders with social media traffic and other's still getting excessive organic traffic. Though one should focus at multiple strategies, because at times when you lose organic rankings, it really hurts badly. I'd suggest hiring an assistant to do nominal amount of work every month for your site, if you're serious about getting things done. Or you can do it yourself too. As it suits you best of luck!

    Nice video. But it all boils down to QUALITY. Give people the QUALITY EXPERIENCE they crave. Most marketers don't know how to do this. This is why you will always have a competitive ADVANTAGE if you focus on quality.

    What are some free traffic getting strategies I could use to get people to my blog.
    To me, this translates as "How can a spend tons and tons of time chasing after ways of getting free traffic - that probably wont convert to sales."

    If your time is valuable to you (which it should be), then there is no "free."

    Some cause-oriented hackers recently hacked one of my websites. So I researched what they're about and then donated a large sum of money to the entity they hate the most.

    The next time they hack one of my websites I'm going to donate DOUBLE.

    -YouTube
    -Social media
    -Slideshare
    -Forum posting
    -Article marketing
    -Doc sharing sites

    Free traffic is a slow process though and if you have the funds go for paid PPC traffic.

    There are several free methods to drive traffic to your site. I highly suggest that you choose one or two methods and stick with those until you start getting traffic.

    You can try blog commenting and forum marketing. Stick with them and implement them everyday.

    Then you can begin using other methods. Avoid trying to do too much at once, otherwise you will find yourself trying to do too much and not accomplishing anything.

    It will take some time, but if you stick with it you will begin to get the results.

    Start with two and master them, than add another and another. There are tons of free traffic methods, I would start with Facebook it's easy and quick to edit for modifications.

    Free traffic is easy depending on the niche you're in. There are some niches online where you can totally take over the search engine results and rank your site and content in the top 3 listings easily. And then there are other niches where SEO wouldn't be a good strategy at all. It's all perspective.

    Here's my favorite free traffic methods though:

    1) Forum marketing

    2) Article marketing (great recurring customers)

    3) Email marketing

    4) Blogging

    5) Youtube

    6) Social marketing

    7) Blog commenting
