Photo books and Picture books (Kindle): Are they really worth bothering about?

Hi everybody,

The whole world and their granny seem to be talking about the fabulous opportunities in publishing "Photo books" or "picture books" on Amazon Kindle... From children's picture books about animals / space / trains, to picture recipe books, pictorial city guides and God knows what else...

everybody seems to be hyping about how easy it is to produce this type of eBook (even lots of them), and how much market is out there for them, and I just wanted to ask you this: Has any of you actually tried to produce and sell this kind of eBooks? Were you happy with the results? Any tips you are willing to share?

Many thanks, Roni

    Roni,

I have some clients who have been very successful with photo books on the Kindle however, they had to market their book and brand, not much different than any other type of book.

Thanks. Obviously, I guess you should still market your eBooks just as much as you would have done with any other type of eBook you try to sell on Amazon Kindle... I just wanted to know if there is really a decent demand for this kind of books, and if there are any "tips" anyone is willing to share... (What niches are worth focusing on, or whatever...)

      Cheers, Roni
