Split Testing Question

I just setup a split test using google analytics content experiments...

I now have mywebsite.com/vsl and mywebsite.com/vsl2 that are each being tracked.

Here's my question: how does this affect affiliate traffic?

My product is running on clickbank and my hop link page is mywebsite.com/vsl so is all affiliate traffic only going to go to version 1 or will it also be split up as well?

Thanks!

  • The traffic will only be sent to the first link.

    • That was quick! Thanks for the reply Ryan!

How do you get around this?
  • Sounds like you need to put a redirect, split test script on mywebsite.com/vs1 that devides traffic between mywebsite.com/vs2 and mywebsite.com/vs3.

    • Thanks webapex...

I actually made a mistake in my original post, that's what I'm already doing.

Hoplink page is mywebsite.com and that redirects to mywebsite.com/vls

So affiliate traffic should be included in my split test as well?
