Software idea

Ok I have spent the past year learning some programming. My question is as marketers have you ever said I wish there was software to do this? I may be looking for a project to tackle so what would like to see? Please try to be detailed. It could be something to keep track of a whole campaign,converting leywords or your backend such as quarterly earnings per product. Just some of my ideas I don't know what you guy's would want so let me know in detail and I may try someone's idea.

    Or you can find something that is already done and
    make it even better. There are so many products
    that are simply improvements on other products.
    Think about the Dyson vacuum cleaners. Same
    vacuum cleaner, just better (and more expensive.)

    I like that idea raydal.Like Thomas says I need to do some market research. I thought asking a marketing forum what kind of software they would like to see would be considered market research.

      That is the "Lazy Way To Market Research" which is now available in pdf format. :p

      How much do you know what others do around here? If you don't know what they are doing and how they are doing it you can't build anything worth purchasing.

      You can either partner with someone who does know or you will have to roll up your sleeves and dig down into what your customers are doing.

      It isn't as easy as posting a question. That is why this question is asked on an almost weekly manner. Heck, if you would have searched on the forum you would have been miles ahead of most software developers.

      For starters, look at what is selling in the wso forum. Look at how you can automate the how to products that are selling great.
