What I Just Got Told By An SEO Company on my 3 Gov Backlinks
One of them was 3 GOV links. Of which, you cannot view them unless you login to the account.
Warriors! These are known as "non-public" profile URLs correct?
And these are known as "useless to SEO" because search engine cant crawl them. Correct?
Please tell me if I'm wrong here. Please do.
Here is my conversation wit them;
Me:
Hi thanks a lot. However I have a problem. Have checked the gov links and none of them exist. |
Hello,
About gov links 1) Did you register? I have checked the links and all of them are existing. PLease use these access |
Me:
Uhhmmm if you have to login to view them. What use is that for SEO???? I shouldn't have to register for anything that's your job and what I just paid you for is it not? What you mean register? Why would I need to register? I have the account login details here so why are you telling me to register again?? These are called "non-public" URLS and they are USELESS for SEO because search engines don't even know they exist! |
You are not right, cause engines have the accounts at these forums and they can check the profiles easily and see the links. |
What! So search engines. They have my username and password for these accounts do they? How can they read the link on that site if it needs to login to my account first but it doesn't have my password?? Tell me that. Wow I can't believe you've said that and expect me to believe it. I've been doing SEO for 7 years. You are not dealing with a total SEO newbie here as you seem to think you are. Tell me this, how has google got my login details for a profile on a site that was only created a few days ago? Please, please do tell me that I'd love to hear what you have to say...... I am now going to put what you have said on about 3 top SEO forums so we call all have a giggle at how stupid you are saying that. Trying to fob me off by saying that search engines can login to sites what a load of complete bullshit! So you're telling me, that Google has my password for my 3 GOV backlinks and part of its algorithm is to login to that site (with my username and password) and check if my links exists yes? That is what you are saying yes? |
This is news to me. Did anyone else here know that Google has the password to ALL and EVERY single profile you've ever created online and can login and view your links on your profile?
Did you know that? I didn't know that.
I'll tell you why WE didn't know that..... Because its BS that's why!
