GoDaddy has domains for $.99/year (limit 3 domains).

All I had to do to get a proper link was search Google for "domain name"

Yep and you can find $0.50 domains by Googling "$0.50 domain". I believe register.com and networksolutions.com currently have them.

Careful with them. Network Solutions will begin charging $35/year after the first year if you don't transfer your domain to a new registrar before the first year is up. I'm pretty sure that register.com does the same bait and switch.

Just to let you know Hostgator domain sale is on until August 15th at 11:59PM Central. I bought 4 earlier, they are in my account. You don't need to host at Hostgator, you can add your own DNS information in the billing/admin area.

    Hi,
Apparently, you have not heard of Honey. Honey is a firefox add on that gives you the lowest price on GoDaddy for a domain name. I got a dot.com for $1.17. PM me and I'll give you the link. I would give it to you here, but, don't think I'm allowed.

The link to get the Honey browser addon is right here Home | Honey

Here's a forum thread about Honey that explains how you can use it to get coupon codes to get domains for really cheap http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...tle-trick.html

Geri, you have 112 posts; I'm sure you can post links.

BTW Geri, posting a link here comes across as being a lot less spammy than asking people to send you a PM for more information.

I have personally used Honey and have been able to get some great deals on Domains. What I found out though is that for me the plugin does not work with Firefox.

I always have to check out on goDaddy with Chrome whenever I am using Honey.

So if it doesn't work on Firefox for you, be sure to give it a try using Chrome.

One reason that you may want to consider using HostGator to register your domains is that they usually end up being cheaper in the long run.

    NetSol has ethics issues.
    Godaddy has anti-consumer policies.
Hostgator has lost domains, and are simply careless. (Not really a registrar.)

Want a good registrar? Use Namecheap or DirectNIC.
