Review site or solo product site?

aright, I'm on the verge of starting affiliate marketing. I've done my research for the past year and I'm almost ready to roll.

So what has better CTR, making review sites with a bunch of similar products or making a solo product site...just raving about that one product? I feel like sites for solo products can be more beneficial for targeting less keywords, but a review site people can do their homework and make a knowledgeable decision based on reading each product review and having more choices. I've seen both numerous times and I just don't know.

Worst comes to worst, trial and error it is. However, I hope I can get some input thru you warriors from past experiences or general knowledge.

I've got both kinds of sites, and I've never noticed an appreciable difference between the two.

Either way, you're going to have to either spend money to promote the site, or use free forms of marketing which are time-intensive.

Good luck -- just start, you CAN over-think IM. There are no real rules, there's only what works for you.

This would be for affiliate marketing however. So to be more clearer, make a review site w/ a bunch of other people's products or 1 site w/ 1 of someone else's product?

I have great results with content sites that contain reviews within the sites - but not your typical "our top recommended product" type sites.
