How to Determine Conversion Rates on Clickbank Product Sales Pages?

Why not just contact them and ask them to show you a screen shot of their conversion rate?

If you are the vendor, here is how I would do it:


If you are the affiliate, then no, the only way is to contact the vendor and ask them.

To be honest, if you are the affiliate, even if you could trust the answers it is not worth knowing a general stat. What matters is whether it converts for you.

Here's why a general stat is useless:

Let's say there are two vendors A & B, each receiving 100 high quality targeted visitors per day from affiliates

Vendor A, sells 2 copies of his product, conversion rate = 2 out of 100, conversion rate = 2%

Vendor B, sells 1 copy of his product, conversion rate = 1 out of 100, conversion rate = 1%

So A is clearly better.

However now some idiot affiliate sees this and joins A's program. Instead of sending high quality targeted visitors, he sends rubbish traffic. Forced clicks from a country which doesn't even have credit cards. The idiot sends 900 visitors per day, and gets no sales.

So now A is getting 1000 visitors per day, still 2 making 2 sales per day, but his nominal conversion rate is 2 out of 1000 = 0.2%

So A looks worse than B.

But is A truly worse? Has anything changed to make A worse? The fact is, on targeted high-quality visitors sent by decent affiliates, A is still much better than B.

So the short answer: Do your own testing of what works for you
