PLR Membership Site Pricing

I have read through countless amounts of PLR guides, and none of them give any recommendations for pricing of a site. I have looked through numerous sites too to get an idea of their pricing, but they are mainly based around complete website PLR etc, something I don't want to do!

I have considered anywhere from $7 to $27 a month for my subscription. It would guarantee around 120 articles a month (handwritten by Native english speakers), the ability to 'request' PLR for members, and a couple of e-books. All of course original content. Yes, there is a lot less content than standard PLR sites out there being released on a monthly basis, but quite a lot of it will be of a higher quality (I have seen some of the stuff those other membership sites produce!)

Anybody got any suggestions about how much they would be willing to pay?

I honestly, as someone who uses PLR sometimes, don't go for membership sites. I don't want to end up with too much random stuff; or be locked in when I don't actually need a month of PLR.

As far as pricing, though, the ones I've seen were actually priced a little lower than the standard $1 per page, simply, I guess, to give "members" better value.

Your pricing range of 7-27 seems fair.

I would start at 7 and increase as you gain members.

I know that I pay $10 a month to a "generic" type PLR site and I feel like I'm getting a good value. Although, I have also considered starting my own.

    Good luck.

    Cheers,

I have sold all of my packages just straight up without a membership requirement. I find that unless you have some exclusive membership content (e.g. limited distribution plr) it's not really appealing to people to join unless they are complete newbies.

As for price, you'll also find that you sometimes need to change your prices at different times of the year. So what you start at depends on the degree of exclusiveness and quality. Right now, however, unless you are offering some limited distribution content, I would put it at $17 if you have a lot of content and $7 or $12 if you have less. You'll need to test prices ongoing, as well as test everything else.

A few months ago I joined PLR Ebook Club. The reason why I joined is because they only charged me $4.95 for a 14-day trial. I would suggest a similar pricing model.

I not very inclined to join a PLR membership sites because I simply want to buy the PLR I want and that is it.

As far as price, just remember with membership sites you have to over deliver. Your articles end up being less than the $1 price per article so then you have to work harder.

I have looked into one membership site that is very niche specific and it interest me very much...the funny thing is I still have not joined but I purchased a single PLR product from the seller instead.

    Hope this helps.
