Hey there,

Im new around here, I was wondering if you online marketers could help me out with a good facebook adv. strategy for a budget as low as 300$. I'm currently managing a facebook page for a personal brand(women clothing). we have about 8000 likes. the brand is build up by a strong person people know from the gossip pages. how much would it cost to gain 4000 new likes from advertising before christmas? the main target group would be women between 18-24 years. I know it's not a straight forward question, but maybe you could come with a estimate.

Thanks,
Morten

It all depends on your CTR and if people actually like the page.

I've used Facebook advertising a lot, the best I have managed to get is 6k likes from $600 - however depending on your market I think this could be better/worse. And the above was using a variety of advertising options including sponsored posts.

The trick to Facebook advertising is to get yourself everywhere, use sponsored posts on you best content, they work well and can bring in more page likes because people actually share the post and like your page rather than just liking your page.

If the music is good, getting 4k likes with $300 will be easy, just remember to delete ads that are not working, constantly create/change ads to see what works best and use sponsored posts.

Competitions also work well, I created a competition giving away some goodies and £50, it was shared 100 times and as a result we got a heap of page likes (the conditions were to like the page and share the post).

    Hope this helps

You can't hold a competition were the conditions is to like and share? -At least not by the rules of facebook.
