Hello! I am a level 3 writer at Textbroker. I would ideally like to make $20 a day, but I'm having trouble meeting that at Textbroker because they are out of articles when I log on. Do any of you work with two sites? Could you share with me the sites you work with?

Again, thank you for all the wonderful advice you have given me in the past!

Have you considered opening your own article writing website and promoting it?

It's just an idea for you, but I think that would be the easiest path to $20 a day.

I totally agree with you,He should consider creating his own web site and start charging price on articles as he wishes.
Alternative consider offering your writing skills as a freelancer on oDesk or Elance,It will pay you more than your $20 target per day.
      All the best.

  • $20 per day is extremely easy if you're a good writer.

I've been freelancing for about three years now, and on days that I write I typically make $100-400, depending on which clients I'm working with and all that. Of course, I don't write too much every day for clients.

I'm actually working on a site which is dedicated, in part, to helping freelance writers learn to make money with their writing. I just started the site last week, so it is new. If you're interested, I'd love to work with you one-on-one a bit. You can ask me questions about stuff, which will give me ideas on what I need to cover for my site. Obviously I'll help you out in any other ways I can too.

    If you're interested, PM me.

I agree with others, go out on your own. Write your butt off and build up a collection, sell as PLR, and you should have no problem reaching your goal and beyond.

Why don't you spend your free time writing 'how-to' books and listing them on Amazon. If you have a book available for 9.99 it only takes 2 sales a day to make that $20 (almost $20 cause of royalties etc) but if you compound this and list multiple books you can start building up a more passive business rather than trading your time for $'s

I know your investment at first is the time it takes but if you're willing to put in the work it's definitely worth it

This is a great idea. I think it is time for me to start writing my own 7500 to 15000 word kindle books instead of writing them for others for $25

Anne, offer your services in the Warrior for Hire section in this forum and you can pick up work. I have a long list of sites that have possible work but others have already mentioned some of them. Feel free to pm me.
The more places you look for work, the more chances you have of getting it.

I am a writer. I look at my earnings over a month instead of daily as some days I get paid for jobs but it takes me a few days to complete them. I always make more than what you're looking for so learn from myself and others and do everything you can to explore new avenues.

You should start your own site and promote your writing services there. This way you don't have to get into a price war with others on the freelancing site. It's not hard to promote your site... follow the advice on this forum.

You could also try to promote your services on marketing threads.

Instead of writing for free sites, you could start your own and brand yourself as a ghostwriter. Once you build up a reptation and stuff like that, you'll be able to charge more money. You might want to check out Ghostwriting Cash (.com) by Tiffany Lambert (used to be Dow, going through a divorce), so don't be confused by the sales page (has Dow on it rather than Lambert).

    Good luck,
    Joey

I have read about selling books on Amazon. Is it really that simple? I had wanted to try it for so long, but did not have the courage. Do you have some additional information on selling books on Amazon? Thank you!
