I need a good payment processor for my new product. I need it setup in the next 3-4 days and ready for payments. Have you used any payment processors and if so what has your experience been with them? also what good marketplaces like clickbank are there to get my product setup quickly and is the most reliable. Also I can't use paypal.

You're getting some questionable advice here. Authorize.net is not a payment processor for one; it's just a gateway. It does nothing unless it's connected to a merchant account you got from some other bank/MSP. Buying a gateway before getting a merchant account is like hiring painters before the home is constructed. Getting a good merchant account is the challenge in the UK, not what API you use to talk to it.

WillR has to have the last word, so I'll let him think he has it.

To provide a real answer, Stripe (recently opened to the UK), PayMill (the Samwers brothers clone of Stripe before it opened in the UK), and SagePay are good options for your region.

If you don't have a merchant account, they'll help you get one through a reseller, but you're not going to get a good rate that way.

      Dan,

Authorize.net is still a 'real answer'. Plenty of people use it. Yes you need a merchant account but I never said you don't. It's one of the more popular solution with top IM'ers nowadays for processing payments on their websites which is what the OP wants to do.

I'm pretty much strictly Paypal. I even use their credit card scanner for my cell phone.

I believe you're still getting confused. Authorize.net is just a gateway. You don't process payments through it. The payment is actually processed through your merchant account. I *very* much doubt the OP will have access to a merchant account if he does not have access to PayPal.

Considering the OP's question, an all-in-one solution such as Clickbank (or any other similar) is the way to go.

Why would you think he doesn't have access to a merchant account just because he was banned from PayPal 4 years ago?

Why can't you use PayPal if you are in the UK?

It's a long story. I got banned over 4 years ago which is a pain cause it's complicated when it comes to things like this.
