You don't. It's called copyright infringement.

If you copy someone elses content without their permission, it doesn't matter what you're using it for - you're still infringing on their copyrights.

Many product owners give affiliates multiple different landing pages to use. I'm sure OP is allowed to edit the landing page if he contacts their support. For example, Perfect Uninstaller Affiliate Program - Perfectuninstaller.com (scroll down)

well the product i want to promote i was looking through ads and sure enough sombody is doing what i want to do. Same product but everything is re-ogranized and when i look in the affliates section hes give the codes to the video. So but i want to change the website like testiomal videos up instead of all the way down and there are some paragraphs at the bottom of the page that should be all the way up there instead.

this guys affliate website looks so much more cleaner than the orginal website . hmm il call up the guy tomorrow and see what i can do.

You need to do some "Work" Get a copy of the product and do a real review. Link to your review, not the sales page, and on the review page have the link to the sales page

if the video is hosted on youtube, you can probably embed it without legal concerns(assuming that youtube took their measures in the bla bla terms of service).

also, using a <div>s or frames on your page you can place the video on top and the respective sales page(integrally) below the video. but that won't remove the original video from the sales page.

don't know if this matches your case or provides the desired result, though..

The best solution is to embed the video and after that you don't have to worry about the copyright and other legal concerns. Best of Luck!!

    Hi,

Because I searched the forum and this showed where aweber and Wordpress were mentioned together, I decided it was my best shot at an answer.

Is there ANY way possible.... ANY kind of hack... even if it's crazy complicated....

that can allow me to get an Aweber "Test drive Ad" on my Wordpress.com blog post?

It's the perfect place in my post to put this Ad... and I can't find a solution anywhere.

Here's the code for the Ad:

<!-- BEGIN AWEBER WEB FORM -->
    <style type="text/css">

Any help.... ANY way to force Wordpress.com (NOT .ORG) to let this Ad on my post?

I really don't want to have to re-do my whole blog on Wordpress.org...plus I want Wordpress.com.... I love the safety of it... despite the fact that I'm trying to hack that safety for one Ad.

But seriously, this Ad fits PERFECTLY into my blog.

Thanks for your time and any help in advance.

Reading their terms of service will perhaps change your mind.

I'm not trying to be rude to you, but it's essential, when you depend and rely on people's services online, to read their terms of service. In the case of wordpress.com, not only are they particularly restrictive, but they're also rather fiercely enforced.

No advertising or monetization or commercial activity of any kind is allowed there. The site is for "hobby bloggers". If you put any kind of ad on a wordpress.com blog, the whole blog will be removed as soon as a staff member sees it. And that's it. Gone. Finished. Kaput. No appeals. It's a little ironic that what you say you like about wordpress.com is the "safety". That's about the least secure kind of blog you can get, if you advertise on it.

If you're making "5 figures a day", as your signature claims, I'm sure you can afford some hosting for a blog you actually own yourself?

I rarely EVER read those terms and conditions before I sign up on a site.

I guess I'll have to from now on... what about putting an affiliate link in an article that is

directly related to the blog post... for instance a craigslistadtracker.com link after

talking about how to place Ads on Craigslist to get some traffic.

And thanks for the heads up... I'll change my signature to a different link.

I guess 5 figures a day is too much for some people...geez bite my head of will you?

I forgive you. But daaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn.... Give a newb a break

Yes indeed: that will also get your blog deleted. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but look on the bright side: knowing that beforehand saves you some effort and frustration later.

    I do appreciate it Alexa,

even though you were quite sassy. But strangely... I like that. Not sure why.

One more question, can I at least refer to a 10 day free trial to Craigslist adtracker with a link?

And how about free trials to GetResponse and Aweber... with a link for each?

Or do I have to leave out the links...if I must leave out the links, even while referring to them as free trials, which they are at first for 10 days and 30 days, can I still reference these websites and their free trials because it provides content to my readers?

I'm sort of aiming at newbs to marketing for my first posts (this is the first blog I've ever done).... so it would be a sort of

"*kaachiiing*...thank you for this helpful resource you just gave me" type of thing for my readers.

    Thanks again Ms. Sassafrass

What part of the words "incentivized link" is so hard to understand here? Are we supposed to have to go to law school, now, to understand wordpress.com's terms of service? It's for hobby bloggers: nothing commercial, nothing monetized, nothing incentivized, nothing from which you stand to gain, etc. They won't even allow you to use it "to draw traffic to another site". No marketing.

Originally Posted by jmet1948 View Post

I think so, but I'm not sure. And not if you're going to gain anything from it if they upgrade later, or whatever, clearly, because that would be "incentivized", wouldn't it? And it would certainly be unwise to do anything there that might look like you were doing "marketing".

I have a question for you, also (and again, I intend it helpfully): were you aware that you can get your own self-hosted, privately owned WordPress blog on good, reliable, long-established, advertising-free hosting without needing to pay anyone a penny for the software, for the hosting, or even for a domain-name? Because once you know that, you can own and control your own WordPress blog, even if you have no money, even if you have no credit-card, and all these other questions become kind of irrelevant, really, don't they?

      This may help you: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post8545655

(Not that I'm suggesting someone advertising a five-figure-a-day income would ever be in a position where anything like that were relevant, natch ).

Oh you sassy sassafrass tree I will kiss you right on the forehead one day in gratitude for this information.

And my 5FigureDay link really is pretty cool... not trying to sell it to you or anyone else...but not everything that looks like spam, is spam. It was a link to a 7 day trial that is chalk full of some of the sweetest information you can get for $1... straight from a multi-millionare in internet marketing.

The 5FigureDay is a way for newbies to learn how to generate leads... if nothing else...
but it also has Clickbank products integrated into it, so that whoever goes through your landing page instantly gets a great Clickbank pitch with your hop link attached, and you
also get their e-mail for your list.

And for newbs, like myself... (6 months considered still a newb???).... it had great information for me to quickly learn for $1 for a 30 day trial.

Really, it was well worth the 1 dollar, and much more, just learning how you can set up lead generation pages integrated with "sock it to 'em" sales pitches directly behind your capture page.

I know that sounded like a sales pitch, but it wasn't. I'm defending my little 5Figure link because it's been good to me. And I didn't know that affiliate links weren't allowed in the signature, because I rarely read the terms of service... just skim through it.

But I will change that because of your sassy and dare I say...sexy...correction.

Just sayin'... it was sexy. Not hitting on you... just stating a fact.

    Thanks again ; )

Use HTTrack lol. I'm sure they wouldn't mind because you're helping them make more money anyway.

You gotta get a green light from the vendor before you do things like that if you wanna be on the safe side

You're better off creating your own landing page if you're worried

If the seller has given affiliate tools to use why can't you just use them?
Other than that go purchase the product, use it and create a review page with a video.

The fact that most other affiliates are using them is one pretty good reason, for a start, though there are also typically many other reasons, too!

In affiliate marketing, one earns a living by differentiating oneself from other affiliates promoting the same products. Your list subscribers are usually also on other people's lists. You're usually not the only person recommending the same product(s)/service(s) to them. The affiliate who makes the sale is very often the one through whose link they customer ends up buying because that's the person whose recommendation the customer most trusts. Using the same "affiliate tools" as everyone else makes that harder to achieve, not easier. So it costs you money.

      "Thanks but no thanks".

In all my niches, my subscribers and potential customers hate review sites and videos, and say so (unprompted) regularly. I have a mortgage and bills to pay every month, and for me review pages with a video just won't cut it, at all.

        Hi Alexa,

Thanks once again for the great information.

I want to apologize for treating you like a sexual object before. You are a human being and deserve to be treated like one, and I'm sorry.

By the way, I wouldn't recommend Freehostia.com to people for free hosting.

I LOVE their customer service... they are so prompt and helpful, even when I ask such newb questions...

but their free servers are not good at all for hosting a blog. I'm not sure how they compare to other free hosts for a Wordpress.org blog, but their server has given me plenty of problems within the first few days, and the customer service ended up telling me, "You need to upgrade to a paid plan if you don't want this to happen." (running out of some kind of space so that people couldn't access my site at certain times during the day.)

Just so you know the full situation, I had a Wordpress.org blog as my homepage (right in my main domain name) with 2 posts and a front page. No videos or banners anywhere, just written word with hyperlinks. I had Hyper Cache Extended, another cache plug-in that I can't remember the name ( too lazy at the moment to go look it up on my other computer) but wasn't any more of a burden than Hyper Cache Extended, and some other small plug-in.

That was it, and the free hosting didn't host it too well. Just FYI and I'm not upset about it at all.

I think their paid server could be great, so I'm going to try it out when I get the extra cash, because they really do have amazing customer service.

Out of curiosity and really just need some help Alexa, do you know any legal, ethical ways to make money online within a week... even if it's just $100? I need some extra money right now and even an extra $50 would be nice. And any advice whatsoever would be appreciative... but especially right now need some extra money fast.

Oh and one more thing, have you ever tried Google Sniper? I was going to try their $1 trial. I looked through the reviews section for a little while and didn't find anything... I'd look more but I need to go to sleep.

Hopefully one day I can help you with something! Thanks again you've been fantastic Alexa.

I think there's plenty of advice in this thread: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...desperate.html

I always think "providing a service" is probably the fastest/easiest way to make a relatively quick $50/$100 online. Is there something you could offer somewhere like Fiverr? You wouldn't need that many customers? (I've never tried it, myself, but others here have certainly made some quick money, that way).

Thanks for your information about Freehostia. My guess is that Byethost might be better, in that regard, but the problem there is that people can't do a "one-click WordPress installation" and need to install it manually. It's a more secure way to do it, of course, but it does put a lot of people off.

Not for me ... I think the method's years out of date, myself. I wouldn't want to try affiliate marketing based on search engine traffic, myself. Many other Warriors seem to have had bad experiences with it recently, if you look at what they're saying.

          Good luck!
