how long did it take you to profit from your internet marketing niche list

i think this is a question all the newbies should have in their knowledge base since typically when you start off in internet marketing, the internet marketing niche is usually one of the first niches you get into since you are learning about it (teaching what you are currently learning is usually the easiest thing to do)

- So the question is

how long did it take you to start seeing a significant (livable) return from your list in the internet marketing niche? (i see the CPC cost for I.M keywords going up all the time)


- another question i think beginners should know is
how did you first start promoting it? (CPC or Organically)

    IMHO, nobody can give the exact answer if you want to standardize the time length between not earning to earning. Some people might have longer working time, but other people with shorter working time can be more productive using the time. So it's really unpredictable.

    Did you mean how long we can have ROI if we use PPC? There are so many variables here, hence many case studies and reports being sold out there.

    First time, I started promoting organically or free marketing methods because I didn't have much money to invest in paid marketing methods. But the point is not to think too much. Just take action and you'll learn along the way. Nobody starts out perfectly because of perfect knowledge. We can't stop learning.

          I like to see progress in one month, that can even mean as little as 20 cents per day PPC from a site or the increase in traffic, they are both important as each other.

    I started out selling IM products, but quickly shifted to the cooking
    niche and quickly made a lot more money there. Some of my
    earlier commission checks were also in the dating niche.

    So, I'm not sure that the IM niche is the best one to start out
    in. Those same skills applied in many other niches are easier to
    make money from because you are often up against much less
    skilled competition.

    I started 17 years ago though, and probably didn't touch CPA/CPC
    for the first 10 years, so I'm not a good case-study for those
    starting out today.

    I DO believe that you skills learned in the IM niche can be MUCH
    more profitable when applied to other niches.
