What Video Format should and Instructional Course be in?

Hey guys,
Just wondering peoples opinions on what video format is most recommended for an online instructional video course?

Obviously they would be downloaded, and work easily on both Windows and Mac.

Agreed. Use HandBrake to convert any formatsto MP4 and you should see the size becomes very small. This would make your videos load faster. Hope it helps.
