Using Fiverr Gigs to Promote Affiliate Links.

I've been looking at Fiverr for options on driving more traffic to my sites. I notice a lot of gigs that will promote a link or share a link with upwards to a million "real" people. For $5 of course that is tempting, but when you look at reality none of that traffic is targeted and I can't see it converting.

However, I got to thinking how much it would cost to run ads for that amount of traffic and it would be much much higher than $5. If you could get enough conversations to say make even $10 then it could be profitable. A lot of these gigs have thousands of positive feedback so I'm assuming the traffic is not a complete waste. If you are promoting things that appeal to a large audience it seems it may be possible.

Anyone have an experience with this? Thoughts?

This would not work unless you know exactly what kind of traffic you would get .

Sure, you can start to contact the person behind a gig and get more data but most likely you will find it a waste of time.

Even if you find one gig where you would get enough traffic to double your money you would not be able to scale it.

In my opinion, never trust traffic from Fiverr, no matter how awesome the offer is. Just focus on high quality traffic. You will get much better ROI that way. Higher quality traffic means higher conversion rate. Why forcing to spend so low for cheap traffic but then, you can barely convert any sales to get the money back. Keep testing and tweaking!

Affiliate links are a tough sell. You might need to design a site for your affiliate links. There are people who can build sites for 5 bucks for you on Fiverr. Once that is done consider promoting your site in the advertising section., where people promote stuff in the real world. You can see the services on offer. It would help you decide what to promote. Products that everyday people can key into always work best eg making money online, get my ex back, acne, weight loss and beauty products. Women are spontaneous buyers when it comes to purchasing online. Target them if you can.

A lot of those fiverr gigs that promise to post your offer on thier fan page that has 1 million fans, are fans they bought on fiverr themselves so there worthless...

If you actually read those reviews, a lot of them will say something like...
        (thumbs-up) "Delivered as promised, but I didn't receive a single click/opt-in"...

I WISH fiverr could be used for quality traffic, but 5$ traffic that coverts falls into that all too common "too good to be true" category...

          It's hit and miss. Even if you do find something in the Fiverr;
two things will you experience - traffic is dead even before your affiliate
link is out of the gate - or if you do get any hits they are mostly bouncers
that just tail off if you track them - overall shabby quality.

As corrcetly advised by other warriors above steer well clear of the nonsense
of get 1M hits etc. - that statement in itself should alert your scam detectors.

But having said that Fiverr is great market place for non-traffic activities such as logo design or website design, video etc install etc.

One of the worst things for any web surfer to see is an Affiliate link. If you want to make money online you cannot just buy a fiverr gig and hope for sales, Trust me it does not work that way.

It would make more sense for you to send that traffic to a Squeeze page and try to build up a e-mail list instead.

Fiverr is a great place to find suppliers of many things, high quality converting traffic isn't one of them.

I think if you are going to buy traffic it would be better to use legit PPC companies. I mean, who knows, maybe the seller on fiverr will redirect all his traffic from porn websites to your website which could create a lot of problems for you.

Traffic from fiverr is generally un-targeted and low quality. You can buy the same type of traffic from adfly.

There is a great traffic gig on Fiverr which I use a lot. But the only guarantee is that it either comes from the US or the best Euro countries. It isn't targeted to your site or offer but it works really well for giving a new site a push especially when combined with other promotion. PM me if you need the link.

If it really was a million or even a thousand "real" people, it makes no sense whatsoever to only charge $5. The financial risk is higher, but you will definitely get better results by spending and testing on platforms like Adwords and Facebook Ads.
