Receiving large payments

Hi,

My company will within the next months be launching a new software product (not IM related), which are targeted at companies.
Orders may vary from a few hundred dollars to several thousand, and will be placed online by authorised resellers at our website.

I've looked at paypal but there seems to be a limit on how much you can receive here (we may receive orders on $50k to $100k and above).

Since we don't have the opportunity to do a credit check on all resellers before they purchase, we feel that money up front when they order, is the easiest.

Do you have any ideas on how we can do this? Is normal bank transfer the only option here?

Thanks.

Regards,
Thomas

Yeah Bank will do fine. Never use PayPal . They are not so safe when receiving large payments. Go for Bank Transfer.

    hey.

I really think that you cannot be too careful about this. I would either do a paypal but I would release the product after some time or just good 'ol wire transfer.

Get a true merchant account. Not Paypal.

Get a real merchant account, and for the big ticket stuff, get a signature and copy of an ID even if they have to fax it so they can't pull a "I never authorized this" chargeback.
