OK, maybe the rules have changed but I'm surprised to see that this warrior's FIRST POST is a classifieds ad:

If this is approved by the moderators does that mean that we are getting more and more new warriors whose purpose here is just to advertise?

  • Interesting that you didn't warn him - so I did. It's not as though there isn't a forum that he can advertise in but my guess is that this will be a unique post until he gets a new ID.

      Is your point that a member should be established before posting an ad?

      Otherwise, I'd much rather members (even newbies) pay their $20 and place a classified ad than pollute the main forum with blatant promotions.

  • I believe the rule you are thinking about applies to the WSO section. As far as I know the Classified section was created to allow this type of thing to keep it out of the WSO area.
