Clarify with me, is this allowed?

OK, maybe the rules have changed but I'm surprised to see that this warrior's FIRST POST is a classifieds ad:

If this is approved by the moderators does that mean that we are getting more and more new warriors whose purpose here is just to advertise?

Interesting that you didn't warn him - so I did. It's not as though there isn't a forum that he can advertise in but my guess is that this will be a unique post until he gets a new ID.

You might not like what I say - but I believe it.
Build it, make money, then build some more
Some old school smarts would help - and here's to Rob Toth for his help. Bloody good stuff, even the freebies!

      Hi Joseph

Is your point that a member should be established before posting an ad?

Otherwise, I'd much rather members (even newbies) pay their $20 and place a classified ad than pollute the main forum with blatant promotions.

I believe the rule you are thinking about applies to the WSO section. As far as I know the Classified section was created to allow this type of thing to keep it out of the WSO area.
