Where to buy UNPROFESSIONAL pictures

I'm running dating ads and the vendor wants to see example ads with proof of rights to the images. Anywhere I go to try to find pictures, they are all waaay too professional looking to use for dating ads. I need low quality images that look like they were taking at home.

Anyone know any good places to find them where I could retain full rights to the images? Or does anyone know of any other alternatives to show that I have "written consent" to use the images?

Thanks,
James

Thank you for such valuable input! Have you considered running for president?

Hmmmm, why do you want 'unprofessional' pics? You want them more home grown, do it yourself. He can tell you exactly what he wants in a PIC. It will be cheaper and you can charge your customer.

yes! This sounded weird and I agree with you.

How about becoming a quality leader and offering quality prices along with it. There are no penalties for doing that, and in most businesses word will spread fast.

yeah I have taken pics off Google and still do.
Whoa! Slow down there a minute.

If the guy on the tank wants to smoke, that is LEGAL.

If the fat guy wants to eat coke and donuts, that's legal too.

Taking random images from Google is NOT always legal.

You buy them outright from a photographer (and good luck getting a photographer to relinquish all rights), or shoot them yourself. You can certainly purchase stock images, but anyone that cares to investigate will know those aren't your photos either.

I strongly suspect, actually, that there are so many accounts in this forum of people not only having their websites taken down but even being sued, or at least having to pay out thousands to people like Getty Images to avoid being sued, after doing that, that you'll find there are very few people here naive enough to do it. :p

But feel free to tell yourself that, if it makes you feel better about it.

A search here for threads with the words "images" and/or "pictures" in their titles will find you countless good suggestions.

But be very careful indeed about the precise terms of service of wherever you get them from, because sometimes the specific use to which you want to put them is excluded there.

Lol, I don't know about you, but I get mine from Fotolia. If you want amateur pics, just take one of a family member, and have them sign a release form for a few bucks.

Get a camera and model release forms and go to the park with a few bucks, or hire a journalism student with a camera at a local college and give them some model release forms.

As if people that take pictures from Google would comment on this thread and say "Hey, I steel!"

Thanks to the very few people that posted valuable content instead of commenting just to toot their own horn.

I'm a nurse and i was in a store a few months back.
A elderly male was at the counter with an oxygen tank buying cigarettes
I was right behind him and I could understand him but the clerk could not so I helped with the interpretation.

There was a man behind me, heavy man, Im heavy but he was just as big. He had a sodi pop and donuts in his hand.

The elderly man left, I held the door open for him.

After he left the big guy says, I just don't understand it. He can't breath yet he still smokes. The big man moved up to the counter like he was next.

I'm just as much a mouth in the real life as here so I said. Yeah fat man, enjoy your coke and donuts and this is my spot. He was just that though a talker, didn't even push me with the subject although I really wanted him too.

See each and everyone one of us has some underlying thing we do that isn't right, I don't care if your the Virgin Mary.

I can not stand other Nurses that say well if they wouldn't do that they wouldn't be here. One if they didn't do that you wouldn't have a job and why don't you keep filling that fat mouth with that fried food your eating right now while you say that.

Tried to from gettyimages.ca. It was $435 for 1 image for1 MONTH with full web advertising rights. I planned to split test at least 30 images. This would cost me over $13,000 to test a campaign where I have no idea if it will work or not. **** that, I'm stealing.

There use to be a WSO with pics of pretty models and full rights came with the package, but I have not seen it this year. Hope that you can find it. Do not take Google images. That can get you into a world of woe. Make sure that you have full rights to use em.

For a school project website made by a 10 year old I understand you "steel" pictures from Google. But each self respecting website owner use home made pictures, selfmade pictures or buys them from some kind of stockphoto.

For a few bucks, you have great pictures and no stress at all.

Get a camera and take some photos of friends. Get them sign a model release form. Or try somewhere like istockphoto.com.
