Why nobody's talking about it? Any positive experience?

Thanks.

It can be a great source of traffic IF you target your offer. It's all about traffic, and conversions. You need to test your offers, and not hope they will work. Once you have a great converting offer then it's time to roll out (expand) the number of places you advertise.
    Good luck.

Not the darling it once was. However, it can still be effective for building a list. I would not take a lead from an e-zine to a direct offer. My two cents!

Not bad for building a list. I think it works better in a non IM niche. Check out Directory of Ezines for lists and deals. I have heard that Newsmax sponsored ads also has high converting subscribers.

Actually ezines and newsletters are among my best sources of direct traffic and sales. But test the ezine first with inexpensive (or sometimes free) classified ads or even better, the "sponsor" type ads. If the response rate is acceptable, consider upgrading to solo ads which generally are offered by many ezine publishers. As mentioned, the Directory of Ezines is excellent for sourcing niche ezines (except for the IM niche, which characteristically has notoriously low ad conversion rates by comparison).

Ezine always worked great for me, both for traffic and list building.

Some are, but there's quite a bit of confusion about it, too, in forums.

Some people see the word "ezine" and think of the article directory which happens to be called "Ezine Articles" because it was originally intended to be used as a source of articles for ezines.

Some don't know what an ezine is, at all, and some even imagine that "Ezine Articles" is itself "an ezine"!

Tons. Mine is the same as that of Myob (post #5 above).
