Tiffany Lambert (formerly Tiffany Dow) sells a very inexpensive course called PLR ATM where she walks you step-by-step through how to start your own PLR business/website.

  I agree with Deborah and recommend PLR ATM. I'm following it to set up my PLR store, which will be fully functional and have at least 4 packs by the end of September.
  
  Once I have a few packs ready and I can offer a really good deal for the members here, I'll create a WSO. But I won't rely on that alone to get sales.
  
  You'll definitely want to build a list so you can mail your customers whenever you release a new package or have a sale.

I always write reports or ebooks - that way people can resource them easier and have ready made giveaways to build a list. Works pretty well. As far as reports - I have one pkg where I wrote a series of 5 "mini" reports (2,000 words or so) in the same niche. That way they could have people sign on and send them to opt ins in a series. I think people prefer PLR that comes in a more useful form than just another article. If they are really into articles, they can always rip the ebooks up into a series of those, too - or a report series. The more they can do with quality material, the more you are going to sell. "Quality" being the key word here.

And yes, content is always in demand, especially if you find niches that are popular yet a bit underserved.

  I have seen a huge increase in the number of people offering or thinking about selling PLR, due in no small part I'm sure to Tiffany Dow's success and PLR ATM course.
  
  I think the key to success with PLR, like with any other business, is offering plenty of options for your buyers. Like the previous poster mentioned, reports are great because they give the buyer options. The more content you have available, the better your chances of success are going to be.
  
  And, although PLR doesn't have to be Pulitzer material, it should at least be a decent standard of quality. If you wouldn't put it on your own site, don't try to sell it to others.

As long as you provide quality in the PLR material, it should be fine to sell. However, most people don't do anything with the PLR accept for changing the title. They leave most of it in tact and that's not good to do with PLR content.

PLR content was made to be modified and changed to make something totally unique out of it. If the content is n't unique, then how can it sell?

You can absolutely do that - and list it as a Warrior Special Offer, or a Warrior Classified Ad - or both. If doing both, use the Classified Ad to establish your business presence here and offer your PLR (or membership) and the WSO to offer a super special deal that can only be gotten there (and with scarcity - limited quantity or time).

You should definitely get PLR ATM from Tiffany Dow. Do a search (up in the top bar) for it.

Oh and don't forget to put a link in your signature file!

Yes you can definitely do this! If you can write quality articles that readers can benefit from then you could do very well posting a WSO. Great quality articles will get you happy customers that leave testimonials which can get you even more sales!

Reading through this thread makes me wonder: How many people that said they were starting a PLR store are actually doing that now (10 months later)? I've just started writing/selling PLR and am learning the challenges of the business. I suspect many people may have underestimated the effort required.

  I would suggest that you find an "angle" or a unique approach or something else that sets your PLR apart from everyone else.
  
  There are grundles of sellers in this space, not to mention PLR writers that purchase firesale PLR articles, add a new title, them sell them again as "my original writing."
  
  I'm not knocking PLR as a business . . . I'm just saying that there is plenty of supply to meet the demand for cheap, low quality articles.

Hi,

People are always looking for HIGH quality PLR that can be turned into other
variables that can either be sold or distributed online.

Also if you're going to be creating all this content you might want to
consider using it for your own personal use too.

You could....

......1. Give away content to build your lists.

2. Sell single products by bundling up some of those materials.

3. Create membership sites that drip feed those trainings and get paid every
month from your active members.

And so much more too!
