    Hi,
Brand it with your name and logo. Have Fiverr make a watermark for you.

Take advantage of all the free advertising space around you.

For example your avatar isn't doing anything for you right now. That 80x80 space is free advertising on the biggest internet marketing forum. Use it. Same goes for your signature space once you get one.

Your avatar is of a Nike slogan so not doing much for you either

      You have no signature

Do as I say, not as I do?

If I had a service I was selling or a business in this niche there would be something there. I stick to the affiliate side of IM.

Good branding is all about consistency.

Get a name, get a logo, get a story, and stick to them.

Be visible in many different places inside of your marketplace. This might mean forums, Facebook, Youtube, all over the place. Find out where the majority of your marketplace hangs out online and try and be as visible as possible on those sites. The more people see of you, the more chance they will start to like and trust you and your brand.

First write down what your business is all about. What kinds of products, ideas, values, etc does it stand for. What makes it a little different than similar businesses.

Then, get a good graphic designer to design a logo, watermark, and website if you need it that incorporates it. Come up with a good catch phrase or trademark. Something like "There is never a fee unless we get money for you" type thing that shows why your business is better than the competition.

Third, start developing consistency. Have your logo, trademark, slogan, etc everywhere you market your material.

Your brand is about more than your logo, avatar or sig.

It's what people expect from you, what you stand for. In that regard, WillR's advice about being consistent and sticking to your story is golden.

Other than the health food nuts, when most people think of McDonald's, they think of cheap, fast, consistent food. A Big Mac in Manhattan, NY will taste the same as one in Manhattan, Kansas

When people think of Ruth's Criss, they think high end steakhouse. They'd be offended if they got anything resembling a Big mac.

Figure out what you stand for, accumulate collateral consistent with the image you want, and stick to your guns.

A good place to start is to choose the same picture/logo, title, catch phrase etc and put it across everything - your blog, here, FB, twitter, youtube, emails or whatever else you use. Be clear about what you are selling/offering, who you are, what your story is and who your market is. You want people to feel like they know what they are getting with you. Of course this depends on what business you are in.

The single best way to "brand yourself"?

Be known for something specific. Carve out a niche for yourself. Go super specific and not general at all... become known as "THE" person in that niche.

And then, go above and beyond trying to help people in your niche to succeed.

Offer 3 times as much help as you do trying to "sell" to them.

Focus on offering so much value, people start to welcome your messages/contact instead of thinking you're trying to sell them something.

Instead of chasing people, put out enough FREE amazing content where you create raving fans who then CHASE YOU.

It's so much easier to sell when you first give away great, valuable content for free.

Selling is nothing more than giving people what they want.

If they have a big problem they want solved… show them that you can help them. Give away valuable content right away that the prospect can use to get results, and then show them how/where they can get more of it.

For the past few years, I've been doing that more and more in my businesses... moving from a position of "how do I make money online" to "how can I help out the most people and how can I give more value".

It’s been the single most profitable thing I've ever done.

if you offer enough value for free, and help enough people get what they want… they will start chasing after you.

Think about it. Which position holds more power? Begging them to sign up with you… or them chasing you down, to WANT to sign up.

I know it's not your typical "branding" answer... but you WILL become known. You'll be known as a friend/coach/mentor/trusted advisor and not just another sales person trying to sell something.

To take it to the next level... become very unique in what you do, try to find a unique spin/hook so you stand out.

Become the "trusted authority" by providing value to others. As Zig Ziglar says "You can have everything in life you want, if you'll just help enough other people get what they want."

Look for ways to support others, and build your "brand" by being someone who helps others.

    • I seriously THANK everybody here. All good advice that has brought many simple but powerful things to my attention. As a picture that i always use to get people to remember me, should it be the picture i use here or a "symbol" of what i am trying to put in the memory of the minds of everyone? Can a logo do this or should it be my personal image? thanks again

If you notice every small or big service/business is on social network engaging their customers and building trust. Run your ads on Social sites. Write about your services and products and submit to as many places.

First of all, brand it with an unique name.
Then buy the .com and .net domains with your exact name.
