Where can I ask people to review my new blog?

Hi. Where can I get people to criticize my new blog ( its design, articles, ads, everything ). I can't feel free to just post it on a forum if there's no specific section for that purpose. It's gonna be spam. I saw someone on WF doing this and others replying but I'm just not the same. Thanks.

You can ask me, not sure about on the forum though. I am not a professional but will critique it to the best of my abilities when finished.

Design? Ugly. I've seen better looking websites in 1995. If you're not good with website design, just use wordpress.

Articles? I only see one. Only skimmed it and the info is helpful enough, but you need more content if you want people to stick around.

Ads? Your heading in the right direction with the way you present them, but it's not perfect. Also the site design itself made them invisible to me. I didn't even look at the right side of the site until you mentioned you had ads and I had to go back and look to see where (big white gap in your design).

Overall? Needs a new design, more content / useful content, more, more, more. The key to succeeding with blogging in your niche is building up your authority and trust. Nobody is going to visit your blog and come back with what you got going on now. Although I feel like you don't really care if people come back, it seems like you just want people to click on your ads and hopefully buy something. If that's the case, just get out of blogging now because running a successful blog is not easy. You'd be better off just building websites to sell those products directly instead of trying to hide your real motives behind a crappy blog.

I've just launched that blog and plan to work on it when I have time. The blog's on Wordpress. What's ugly in the design? Pictures? Colors? Quality? Everything? I wonder why everyone creates dull blogs without creative pictures in their headers, footers, uses grey colors. I tried to be creative... Thanks for sincere feedback.

        Yikes, so it is wordpress...

Well it's ugly for a lot of reasons. The biggest one is the ugly green that's everywhere. It's unappealing to look at and annoying on the eyes. That's a bad thing for a website that is going to have lots of reading involved.

The pictures are not even relevant to the website and just take up valuable real estate. If you want to make money doing this, especially in this niche, then you gotta present yourself professionally. Anyone who lands on your website and sees a picture of two hands, an owl, with annoying neon green everywhere, is going to brush you off as some nobody who doesn't even have a decent looking website so why should they listen to anything you have to say?

        First impressions are everything.

Hm, I'm a painter, that's where my design craze comes from. Green is pleasant for my eye, I thought everyone would like it, oops . I agree, gonna pick up images relevant to money making. Got to change it all, thanks.

I have to agree - I don't find the site appealing at all.

The colors, the photos, the menu... all rub me the wrong way. I think you'd probably be better off using the default settings of just about any free WP theme.

The one thing I DO like? I like that you used a large, easy-to-read font for the article. Too many people use itty bitty fonts and long, long paragraphs.

Your site needs a serious re-design. What website creation tool are you using? You could probably achieve the same goals with a fresh and templated Wordpress blog theme.

It's a theme generator Lubith. I don't like most themes available online. As to re-design, I agree.

Max, what do YOU think of your blog?
I think of adding a lot of content and as soon as I get traffic start building a list. Obviously I like my design otherwise I wouldn't let it go live. Though I see people disagree so I'm gonna change it.

Yes! Definitely You have to work hard on your website design, because most people attract by design firstly. By the way content is not so bad, try to add more posts in to it and also try to monetize it.

If you are active on social media, you can ask people to check it out and leave a review. High traffic forums also might help. Leave your signature asking for a free review with every post you make. Ensure that the forum is related to your blog.
