    I would say 15-20 hours a week though it varies depending on the time dedicated on daily basis.
    But roughly that's it.

      Nice question! Without thinking about it, I'd say 20-30, but it's actually hardly 10-15 hours per week. Of course, once after the site is up and running. Few hours are spent at once on researches and writings, and the rest is spread over the whole week - few minutes here, half an hour there - on getting involved, marketing, keeping things live etc.

    Starting my first proper niche site up now. I know the subject inside out so content is pretty easy to write for it. Easy to rank for too. I estimate 2-3 hours a day.
