JVZoo, WSO - Prelaunch testing advice needed

I'm curious how fellow warriors test your membership system with JVZoo before the product is launched.

I've tried to test via the private test thread, but JVZoo does not recognize a buy button in the test thread.

Really need to test everything completely before making the WSO live.
I need the actual payment cycle to be just as it will be live.

Any recommendations? or how do you do it?

I will ask friends do it, and even test the refund function, so you don't owe them money.

I appreciate that, but the issue is that the product is not available for sale via JVZoo, and will not be until the actual launch day.
So testing via the WF seems to be out of the question until it's time to go live.

I'm curious exactly what others releasing WSO's that require their membership ipn to handle the member creation go through with testing prior to release.

      thanks

There is a way to test for a penny.

I've done it and you can go from a button in the test thread.

Let me go dig around and see if I can find where it is.

          Thanks Jill!

I had put a button in the test thread once, but JVZoo never recognized it, so I assumed you couldn't do that.

          It's on the sellers dashboard.

Look for test purchases. click that and you'll find create test purchase code.

You also can totally use the test forum for the buy button but you'll need to update the location of that thread when you launch the WSO.

            Excellent!

Thanks Jill, I'll give that a try.

There is a detailed post or video kicking around somewhere on how to use the test area on this forum.

Basically I think I recall putting the test thread in JVZoo as the sales thread, and then you go and swap it after you launch.

Either that or just create a test of your salespage on your own domain and once it's all working ok, then post it inside the forum as well. I would always recommend you have a version of your salespage inside the forum and outside the forum (self-hosted) anyway.

      You can find it here

Not sure, but you might need to be a War Room member. oh....I see you are

Just create a new thread, you are the only one that can see it.

also if you pick up great affiliates make sure you premade them a test purchase also. Most don't know it but I always test the product before I send it out to my list. So many launch and then it's not launched when it is supposed to be or something does not work.

Ha! I'll give a big "2nd" to that!

I'm doing that now and DID have an issue with membership creation.
Wouldn't want to find that out on launch day.
