Pick a subject you're passionate about and then plug into a system like the Empower Network that allows you (and teaches you how) to monetize it.

try freelancing. Start at fiverr.com and from there you can know if you are good at writing, web designing etc. Creating a self hosted WP blog would be the next step

Agreed... provide services for people to raise some capital that you can spend on your campaigns

I got started through article marketing--- submitting articles to free sites, and then the traffic flowed to my own sites. Unfortunately, this method is WAY more difficult now than when I started

As others have pointed out there are many different methods of making money online so the first thing to do is decide what you believe your strengths and weaknesses are and what your interested in. I would say then read up on a few methods and see which ones line up with your strengths.

If you don't like writing then starting a blog to build a list may not be the best. It also is good to decide what method of traffic you want to use SEO or paid traffic before you begin building a website because there are totally different strategies for each. It is also important to know that most people in IM probably have more than one thing going on at once. You may have a long term goal of establishing a authority site but in the meanwhile you may be providing services for people to help keep the cash coming in.

There's no doubt that a question like this will elicit many different answers.

Getting into IM isn't for the weak of heart.

I'd really recommend doing an honest, comprehensive assessment of yourself. Consider your strengths and weaknesses, likes and dislikes, etc. If you don't like writing, it doesn't make much sense to write, does it? But, what if you have a bubbly, warm, and charismatic personality? Maybe you could get your feet wet with making your own videos?

Lately, I've been working towards my Six Sigma black belt. YouTube is filled with people who simply teach others how to do things, like that....perhaps find the most boring thing you can think of and inject yourself into the subject matter in such a way that you can captivate people? The gentleman from Khan Academy did just that. He found a unique and interesting way to engage people with a highly professional tone and approach, but, he was simply able to engage his tribe in a way that others weren't able to. There are so many opportunities out there....but, definitely consider doing an honest assessment of yourself.

Let me also give you a rundown of some of the basic ways people are making money online.

First of all, there's internet marketing, and then there's making money on the web. They're not always the same, but just about any method of generating profit will involve some form of marketing.

Affiliate marketing is a large part of IM-this is where you earn a commission by referring sales of a product. In many cases, when you get someone to buy the product through your link, you receive a percentage of the sale.

You can be affiliate for software, ebooks, courses, and other digital, downloadable products. Many people do this through clickbank.com. And you can also be an affiliate for many physical products as well. The most popular way we do this is by becoming an Amazon Associate.

There are different ways to market affiliate products, and I'm not going to cover that here, but there's a ton of information available about that. Just do searches on this forum and elsewhere for ways to promote affiliate products.

Cost per action, or CPA as it's called, is another form of affiliate marketing where you get paid for getting people to perform a certain action. This can be as simple as getting them to leave their email address in exchange for something.

There are several different forms of affiliate marketing, and it's worth looking into, because the way they work can be very different. Some people that totally hate one area of affiliate marketing might love another area.

Another way lots of people make money online is called arbitrage. This is when you find someone that's wanting to buy something, go find somebody that's selling it for less, buy the item from them and sell that item to the buyer, which allows you to pocket the difference. A lot of newbies often start this way. They find some service that somebody wants to buy-maybe they need an ebook cover designed. If they're willing to pay 50 bucks and you can find someone on Fiverr.com to do it for 5 dollars, you can easily make 45 bucks.

That's just one example of this, but there are several different services you can resell at higher prices.

Another area is freelancing. This is where a lot of newbies also start, but I wouldn't recommend it as much as other methods-one reason is that pay is usually fairly low due to competition from poorer countries. Just take a look at sites like Freelancer.com, Odesk, and Elance. It's pretty self explanatory. This can be worth doing in some cases, but can also be a lot of work too, and it's not a steady income.

Ebay and ecommerce in general. I'll be honest, this is another method I wouldn't recommend due to the insane competition and low profit margins. Most of the time, it seems like the only people making money with it are the people who have a lot of start up capital and a good brand.

Amazon Kindle publishing. This is one of the simpler, more newbie friendly ways to make money on the web. It's also pretty popular. You just write short Kindle books. This doesn't have to be that hard-you can read through forums, blogs, and other online sources and gather information on a popular subject (this is often how-to stuff, i.e., "how to loose X pounds in X days with ______ diet."). This is really just collecting alot of valuable information and putting it all in one source where people can read and learn it quickly. But you obviously have to use your own words when writing. The best way to do this is to take notes and write based on that. There are a lot of example of this kind of thing on Amazon-short, cheap Kindle books on popular (but very niche) subjects. Just one of these won't generate a huge income, but the key is in creating more of them over time. Each one sells on autopilot, and that's the beauty of it. It's about as passive of an income as you can get.

Some people even decide to develop their own product and sell it online, but I'll be honest-this is one of the most difficult things to do in IM. I wouldn't suggest unless you had a lot of experience in other areas.

There are of course other ways to make money but what I've listed are most of the main ones.

Okay, let me go over promotion methods really quick. This is how you get people to whatever product you're offering. In the old days everyone used to try to get visitors Google and other search engines, but the good old days are gone now and this has become much harder to do. I definitely don't recommend basing your business off of getting visitors from Google because whenever they make a change, sites that were getting tons of visitors (traffic) can suddenly drop to a much lower point in the search results, thereby destroying all your income!

So, now what many of us do is get traffic from things like YouTube, social media (mostly sites like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, etc), forums related to the market you're selling in, and others.

What many people will tell you is that you need to get people sign up to an email list-this is referred to as "building a list". This is a whole subject in itself, but very very much worth looking into. Most of the time (but not always), having a list of email subscribers will make you money in a consistent way that you wouldn't be able to make otherwise. Search this forum for phrases like "How to build an email list". You'll come across a wealth of time tested information that might save you from a ton of frustration.

Also, let me mention that the best way to make money is to market to an audience that's interest in something that's a hot market. Some examples of popular markets where a lot of money is being made include weight loss, dating, fitness, certain hobbies, and much more. Those are some of the hottest markets, but don't be fooled by people who say that you have to sell something in one of the top 5 or 10 subjects to be successful. The key is to sell something that a large enough group of people are passionate about, and where there's a lot of products you can sell to them.

There are different ways to determine whether the demand is high enough to make it worth it to get into a market-the existence of alot of associate products is usually one indicator. Another is to see if there's magazines on the subject. That tells you there's money being made.

Another important thing I want to say really quick is that it's highly recommended that you market within a niche of a subject. For example, weightloss is a market. Weight loss for women is a niche. It's much easier to compete this way, for reasons I'm not going to get into now, but trust me, by find a niche within a market and selling to that audience, you stand a much better chance than talking about the subject in general.

I know I went on a bit long in this post, but I really want to make sure you're off to a good start. Like x3xsolxdierx3x said, consider your strengths. What is it that interests you? What are you passionate about? It takes time to decide what area of IM you're going to get into. I also suggest that it's something that's a good combination of something that you're interested in, but also that aligns with a market that's in fairly high demand. Selling in a high demand market that has a lot of competition is still much better than selling in a low-demand market with low competition.

Well, welcome to Warriorforum. I hope you learn a lot here. Once you find something that gets you some results, stick with it. PLEASE, don't fall for the next method you come across if what you're doing already works. That would set you back to square one.

      I hope you do well.

Very Good advice is available here, you have been fortunate
to be coming on here and get lots of advice.

A very good starting point I would give you or any other
newbie is get started on to look up a (Chris Farrell Internet marketing )
He is very effective communicator and highly experienced marketer.
He is I would describe as newbie specialist. Although is is very well
        established marketer authority.
Check is membership site out. You will not go far wrong down there.
And the forum is always here to bounce around ideas and get guidance.
I also hasten to add try not jump in buying Warrior Special Offers (WSOs)
because you will find many **UFOs*** in there, meaning
to say you will be just chasing the cat's tail, much to your frustration.

If you can afford coaching fine, but mostly coaching mentorship programmes
require some pre-requisite knowledge - not all, some. Price
is a big factor. So analyse some advice given to you here by warriors
then take it steadily from there. Again I reiterate check Chris Farell out.
        And again Good Luck.

Like many have said pick a niche you are interested in and learn more about it and how to market it
i just dived in when i first started to save time and start earning and it didn't workout very well
i ended up having to go back to the begging and reading through here and just learning and more learning

It may seem boring but i really do suggest going through this forum also maybe join war room

Stay away from flashy products like empower network. They'll mainly just take your money.

Spend time here, become a war room member, other places I like are wealthy affiliate (you have to pay monthly to be a member) or patt flynns blog (just google it, free to follow him) Since you're already here at the warrior forum I'd suggest just staying here to learn.

Don't try to really buy anything that you don't need yet. Ask around, become friends with people and get started.

Great advice on this thread. The only thing I would add is choose one thing and do that. Meaning, if you want to create a website and drive traffic to it, do that. Find out everything you can on this forum from people that understand what to do and are willing to share. If you want to create your own product, focus on that. Just one thing at a time. The key is focusing on one thing, and doing it to completion. If not, you'll just have a lot of possible ways to make money, get discouraged, and probably quit.

Check out the forum. Look for a business model or money-making method that interests you. Put all your focus and effort into that one thing until you make it profitable. Then, you can decide to scale upon your efforts and/or add another source of income by trying other money making methods.

Clarity is a HUGE part of IM success. I hope this post brings some clarity. It's so simple when you know it -- and darn difficult when you don't! I owe my mentors a world of thanks for bringing this clarity.

IM is actually pretty simple: you can sell only one of two things:

    1. Products
    2. Services

    That's it!

And selling products or services online happens in the same basic way for everyone, no matter what they're selling:

    Traffic > Opt-in page > Autoresponder series (or e-zine) > Sales page

That's it! It's just that simple. (We IMers tend to overcomplicate things.)

But no matter what your niche is, or whether you're selling a product or a service, do you know what your business model is?

A business model is the framework or skeleton of your business. Essentially there are three types of online business models:

    1. Membership-based model

A membership-based business model allows you to build a community of people (your members) who are as passionate about your subject as you are. Your membership fees can be monthly or annual, but either way, you're building recurring, passive income.

There are a lot of resources and information out there to help you build a membership-based business if you're interested in doing this.

    2. Product-based model

Selling products allows you to maximize your time and effort by selling items over and over again. This can be hard goods or it can be information products. Information marketing is it's own business model under the product-based model. Information marketing allows you to take your brain to the bank by creating a product ONCE based on what you know and selling it over and over again.

Affiliate marketing falls under both models. You can choose to market either products or services as an affiliate.

    3. Service-based model

Selling services can be great for 1) generating quick cash (as in the case of article writing or video producing) and 2) establishing your expertise and getting testimonials.

However, in the long run, your goal should be to offer services at a PREMIUM. The biggest advantage of IM is LEVERAGE. You're able to leverage your time, money and expertise exponentially online. We all have just 24 hours each day. Time to get ruthless about what you expect for those hours you spend in IM each day. Expect more of yourself and more from your business friends, clients, partners, etc.

What results are you getting for those hours you spend online each day? Ultimately, your services should be at the bottom of your funnel and cost the most since they involve your time and personal attention. (We all have a limited amount of time each day.)

The fun (and confusion) comes in with all of the endless mix-and-match possibilities of the above models. If you're just starting or still struggling to make money, keep it simple:

    Pick just ONE!

    1. Pick ONE niche. (Something you're interested in and know something about.)

    2. Pick ONE target market for your product or service. (Who will buy what you're offering? The more specific you are, the more you narrow it down, the more successful you'll be.)

    3. Pick ONE business model.

Now that you're clear about what business you're in, FOCUS! (And stop buying any info not related to your niche and target market, period!)

    F -- Follow
    O -- One
    C -- Course
    U -- Until
    S -- Successful

And remember: build a list, Build a List, BUILD A LIST!

In IM, it's easy to put the cart before the horse. Take a deep breath, step back and consider what type of business you REALLY want. Don't worry about getting traffic or buying that expensive traffic product until you know 1) what your business model is, 2) what niche you're in and 3) WHO your target market is!

Successful business people will tell you that MARKETING is more than half the effort that's needed for success anyway. So pick a niche, target market and business model. Then spend most of your time and effort marketing it.

If you DON'T have a solid plan or system, THAT'S when it's hard. A good system will shave YEARS (and save you big $$$) off of your learning curve

That's why I recommend investing in at least one good, comprehensive IM course (or mentor who will give you such a system) instead of jumping from one $37 e-book to the next. A lot of people here complain about not being able to make any money. But neither are they willing to invest in their business. (Buying a random bunch of $37 e-books doesn't count.)

The best thing I ever did was invest in a comprehensive IM course aimed at REAL business owners, not just other IM wannabes. Yes it was $1500. (It's no longer available.) But it was truly some of the best A-Z IM info I ever bought. Everything else I've learned (from the $37 e-books) since has simply been plugged into this system.

Get a solid plan or system and then work the plan!

    Hope this helps!

Tee hee! Nope, the vault is closed. I'm just sharing these little tidbits. After that, you're one your own. Go find someone else to teach you.

Actually, that post is one I think so many Warriors need -- dare I say, even MOST Warriors need. Warriors are struggling with a HUGE lack of clarity and lack an understanding of basic business fundamentals.

Then they buy a WSO which doesn't work and scream "Scam!" No, not really. YOU just don't understand your own business and business model and don't know how to apply the info you have. (Assuming the WSO has legit info in it, of course.)

I've been online a LONG time and it took a lot of searching and learning to learn all of this stuff. I've gone through everything from blog posts, to books, to courses like PLF to hiring a business coach.

Courses like PLF and my business coach have been worth their weight in gold for the clarity they brought.

People like Mark (from the other thread) jump from one thing to the next because they don't understand these basic business fundamentals and if something doesn't work as it should, they immediately quit if it's not successful.

They fail to understand that ALL businesses take extra time and effort (and money) in the beginning to get off the ground. It's like a jet plane. Jets use over 60% of their fuel just to get off the runway and gain altitude.

Building a biz is like that. Initially, it might seem like nothing is happening. That's where faith comes in. Faith and a clear, solid understanding of the business you're trying to build. When you have clarity, you have confidence, which will carry you through the beginning stages when it seems like nothing is happening.

But once that biz (jet) is in the air, it requires a lot less work to just cruise along.

I got my clarity (and confidence) from programs like PLF and my coach who gave me a solid understanding and clarity about what business I'm in.

That kind of clarity helps -- A LOT! And you're not gonna get it from a $7 WSO.

    Create a Business Plan

The very first step you should take when looking to start an Internet marketing business is to develop a business plan. Within this business plan, you will be able to determine exactly what you will be selling to make money with your company. Will you be selling online marketing services or working as an affiliate by selling products or services on your websites? Knowing exactly how you plan to generate revenue will allow you to create a plan of attack for your business where you can then decide the best ways to invest your limited money.

Yeah. I spend about 20% of my time educating myself on marketing and copyrighting.

      It's very important.

I put together a collection of about 100 of the top articles on internet marketing and slapped them together (see sig). That's my IM Bible right now

There's so much to learn, really. The learning curve for IM is unexpectedly really, really high. From web design to SEO to copyrighting to legalities-- it takes a while to get a good grasp on what is going on.

In fact, I still don't know wtf I am doing

Starting internet marketing is not the big issue. you can start with one simple blog or website.
1.first of all think about the topic which you want to share online.
2.what you are going to share. it will be better or not.
      3.who is your target audience.
4.you are going to share any thing unique.
these are the few thing you have to think or research first. then you proceed for internet marketing. there is tons of thing to do.

A good question but, as others have said, far too many answers to be covered at a forum. You need to treat your education in Internet Marketing as just another subject to be learned. How do you learn about any new subject? Take a course. Search online for phrases such as "internet marketing course" or "learn internet marketing". Select a course that you like the look of and start learning.

Goodness me, yet another valuable thread to add to my ever growing list.. Thanks to all, I shall be re-reading this again and taking notes.

I am pretty new to all of this also and I find that even though I have a self hosted wordpress blog that I am aiming to develop I feel overwhelmed at times with the information out there and in what direction should be taken next.

The advice given in this thread is based on common sense really with a healthy sprinkling of tips and tricks.

My own problem is that I fail to focus and at times... Im like a kid in a sweet shop wanting everything now but ending up being un productive. To combat this, I usually disconnect my email and web browser while I sort out the information that is worth keeping and then developing and moving forward with my plan.

Not an earth shattering tip I know, but sometimes going back to basics is what is needed.

          Good luck

    Hi,

    Start with the economics.

How much do you want to be able to make from each of your customers
over the period of 12 months?

What will your sales funnel look like?

Will you be looking to build an email list?

Do you want to offer high ticket offers to your funnel eventually?

If you can figure out how to make your business profitable by
    planning it out first...

...You can then implement by building your business around that plan
and then start to look at using paid advertising.

Once you know you can afford to buy traffic at will you will be able to
build your business in double quick time.

Start with how much you want to make and then help enough others
get what they want by selling your services to them.

    Hope this helps.
    Regards
    Gavin

Just get on reading some of the internet marketing gurus, get up to date with the trends in the domain and you're good to go. When starting in Internet marketing, the first thing that you need to do is to begin building a list because the list is what makes your business work. Don't buy any lists that are already generated, or even get free ones. No, build your own highly responsive list that you can send stuff to and build a strong bond with.

It is these people on that list that will make your Internet marketing a real success.

As a complete beginner I would say, Fiverr.
Do some research on fiverr, browse around the categories, try to learn which services(gigs) gets several sales etc.

After that, try to come up with your own unique gig. If you find it difficult to come up with cool or great ideas for gigs, just check here on WF. There's tons of valueable information for free and if you're really interested I'd suggest you purchase some wsos from people who's having great success on fiverr.

As a beginner, it's always hard to come up with new & unique things.. And it's always hard to get that first sale you're longing for.. but just hang in there!

I second this. Fiverr won't provide enough income for a full time living, but it can provide financial support to pay bills and fund your other bigger internet marketing projects. It's also good for bettering your skills with dealing with clients and marketing your services. These will come in handy later on if you move on to bigger things.

I agree with the point that other Warriors have mention that making money online is not for the weak heart. If you want to see results from it, you must be mentally prepared to commit the required hard work and time in it.

Most people will think that it is simply just create some simple website and just make money easily from it. It does not work that day as the person need to have the discipline to take consistent action before they will be able to see any results.

I have learn tons of thing from this great forum and you simply need to stay Focus on just one system and just take action on it.

Exceptional discipline is definitely required. This doesn't mean just being patient, but it also means being prepared for little, if any, results. This is the crux of internet marketing. People not only want, but they have come to expect, TREMENDOUS amounts of value before they'll ever reciprocate (many, not all, of course). To an IM'er....especially a new IM'er....this can be extremely draining and taxing.

      You must prove yourself first.

Internet marketing is a vast subject the more you read the more you learn. Once you enter in this field, you can automatically understand what next you have to play with.
For beginners it would be best if you start with affiliate marketing and social media as these are easiest way to start with.
I think you should first learn something under the guidance of some experts this will help you a lot. One thing I can say that with affiliate marketing you do not need to create a product yourself, you do not have to deal with sales duplicate, item distribution, client services and the common projects that are necessary for an item owner.

You might consider signing up for Mark Ling's Affilorama.

The course is free but provides massive value in over 100 videos that teaches you how to make money online regardless of what level you are at.

Moreover, Mark is among the most creditable and successful marketers who really does what he teaches.

You can also check out my other post here on why I will stick to this course ONLY if I am a total newbie with little or no money.

This course itself will save you a lot of time and money in buying one IM course after another.

I wished I have come across this earlier in 2008 than last year.

I started out as an affiliate for Amazon. "Amazon Associates Program" Write posts or articles about a product like a review or comparison review and post a link to Amazon with your ID in it. Search for Amazon courses on google or just ask what course people liked best here on the forum. I bought a few cheap ones and would recommend to spend more for a more complete course or you will end up buying 10 more to get the complete training. I also first purchased the XsitePro software that creates and uploads your sites for you to hosting, but Wordpress is a better route, it may take time to learn it if you don't know how. Go to YouTube and type any question in to learn something like "how to hack proof your WP blog" "how to install a WP blog" actually you can learn anything there. Get your info and come back here and ask for advice.

Take your time research everything thoroughly, avoid the shiny ball syndrome at all cost. Keep you wallet in your pocket until you're ready to commit to something, you'll be broke by noon if you bought into every "money making" program. Find a good mentor and I wish you the best of luck...
A general question like that has many answers to it that you can find all over the warrior forum.

I would suggest you to start with self assessment. You need to provide value to your customers and for that you need to know what you are good at, and then start selling it.

Internet Marketing is just like any other marketing, except for the fact that you use internet as a medium to get in front of target market.

Just one piece of caution, don't fall for a loophole or something for nothing kind of mentality, because even if that makes you some money you will eventually fail.

Come up with something that you have and that others need, the rest is just getting in front of the target market and presenting your offer.

If you don't know where to start at all, it might be worth your while investing in a mentor who will help you out. Or you could search the forums as the forum here really is a goldmine of information. I'd recommend selling services first of all on freelancing sites, or look into affiliate marketing.

hbhanot gives good advice. Select product, create squeeze page, collect leads. All you need are: a website, a domain name, an autoresponder

Oh...and a plan. Follow 1 good mentor (there are offers nowadays where you can pay monthly for membership site coaching, if you don't have the full amount to fork out for the mentoring).

People always say "follow the advice on WF," which is true -- but if you're new, weeding through ALL the advice is a bit overwhelming. You don't know what's good and what's bad, and you don't want to buy program after program with no results other than an empty wallet.

Follow the advice of 1 successful mentor. You can still dabble with the advice of others, but follow that mentor's general plan so you have an organized plan of attack that someone else (the mentor) has followed with success.

Some people can figure it all out without the mentor part. If that's the case, more power to you. I didn't truly "get it" until I started listening to an expert and pretty much drowning everything else out.

Do not get into information overload. Do a simple SWOT analysis.

Look at your own strengths, and see how you can use them for IM. A good coach can be of great help. Infact i was blessed to get one, and it changed my life.

Starting up an online business really is not as complicated as you may view it to be. There are 3 basic principals everyone follows to make money online.

    1. Find a profitable niche where people are already spending money in
    2. Build A List of people interested in that niche
    3. Promote products to that list while giving massive value to them.

To help you understand better click here for a more detailed explanation I made:
    How To Make Money Online

Remember there is not quick rich scheme in internet marketing, and nothing comes easy. It takes consistent daily work to start earning a regular income online

    Hope this helps.

My proposal will be to start with Online lead generation. Find a good product with high payout and you will succeed. Lead generation is much better than pay per sale, because you don't care about selling any products, but you only collect leads.
Let me know if you have any questions and I will be happy to provide you some information!

There's more than enough information contained within this thread to get started. If you do have a service to sell, then definitely do that to start off. It will give you some money to fund bigger projects, and you could even do it full time if the service is in high demand and pays well. Definitely look into learning Wordpress though and building niche sites. You'll find everything you need to know by using the search function on this forum.

Where to start? I would say 'ask the right questions' or you are going to get a ton of peoples opinions, and of course there is some gold in this discussion but how do you as a beginner know whats good and whats not?

As an example, Empower Network has been mentioned, someone is for it, someone against it. (I would also sat stay away, but it is my own opinion, I know some people do make money at it.)

Information Overload, we've all been there. So that's why you need a mentor to guide you through and not waste time and money. Look around, and find someone who you can trust who is not going to charge you thousands, some people even offer free coaching because they want to build success stories. Good Luck!

are you confusing Internet marketing, with just "making money online" ?

If you are wanting to simply earn, it would be easiest to go down the freelancer route, you would gain experience that would indeed help you if you decide to move to IM, some things that are always in demand for freelancers are Writers, freelancers and attractive women..

That is how I got in to IM, Did freelance writing and social media management as a freelancer which taught me valuable info about the Internet marketing world..

BTW, if you are a noob, (as you say you are) don't expect to earn any decent money with IM for a long time, for many people it takes years to figure out what they'l succeed in.. as for freelancing, you can earn very decent money once you have built up your portfolio somewhat, until then, expect to work for low and sometimes demeaning amounts..

Hope this little rave of a comment will help you guys out there who don't know where to start

Tons of great advice already. I would add:

Know your strengths and skills. Keep developing those.
Mitigate your weaknesses. Either learn and develop, or outsource what you need.
Learn as much as you can-but don't stop there. Gather information. Take note of marketing tactics that appeal to you (warning: most marketers love to be sold!) and also of those you aren't comfortable with.
Treat this like a business and set a budget for your learning needs, your tech needs and your business building needs.
Focus on one business model. Even if you change it or expand, you will learn a lot.
Set income goals and work until you meet them.
Make a plan to spend time on learning, on technical setup, and action steps. Build time for each into your week.
It can be fun for a while to keep learning and dreaming, but it's more fun to make money. Take action.

basically in starting a business, be it online or offline business is the easiest thing is to start with what you love or close to your daily life. because it will facilitate you in working on it and when the result is yet to come, you will not easily give up because you are doing what you love
