It Is Now Easier To Get Paid From Kindle For non US writers

I logged into my Kindle account this morning to see a notice about Tax treaties. You can now fill in the W-8BEN form online. This makes it much easier and quicker to set up the tax withholding to zero. Hopefully Amazon and Createspace will be following suit in the next few weeks.

You do still need to obtain an ITIN or an EIN number first, from the IRS.

    This is the same for the Android appstore on Amazon. When I joined this as a devloper the W-8BEN was online, yet for one of the mobile affiliate programs I joined it was a case of download and print the form, fill it, scan it, email the scan to my affiliate manager.

    So from your Kindle experience and my Amazon appstore experience I would expect all Amazon services to have this form online now.
