Anyone still Using Yahoo Mail?

Just curious to know how many people still use Yahoo Mail.I stopped using it a while back because there is a time i tried to attach some files and it took me close to two days to do so...lol
Yes, the files were huge but with Gmail it took me only 1.30 hours.
This is my main reason why i no longer use my yahoo mail.

I use both Yahoo and Gmail and have no problems with either other then the amount of spam my Gmail account gets. Not so with Yahoo.

I've been using Yahoo mail for years and I still do. I tend to direct email that I want to keep away from my own mail servers and end up using it quite a lot. I never send attachments that big by any kind of mail though. Just asking for trouble if you do.

Yahoo mail can be a bit slow sometimes but it has served me well.

I've used Yahoo mail that's tied in with my business sites, and I actually like it. I've used a lot of different email accounts and hosting services... and honestly, Yahoo has been one of the easiest to use, and one of the best for me.

Now, a lot of it is familiarity... and a lot of people don't like change, which is why I've kept with Yahoo and it's served me well.

I know there are cheaper web hosts out there, but for me, i've used Yahoo so long, it takes me no time at all to get stuff done. If i switched all of my sites to a new host/email... it would take me forever to learn their system... so I'm of the thinking "if it ain't broke, dont' fix it :-)

Yahoo mail is still my bakcup email account and one of the
oldest I have, even though it was hacked and I had to sign
up for a new one. I had no way of retrieving my password
since the information Yahoo was asking for I guess was
    changed by the hacker.

The only use Yahoo at all because I join my local freecycle groups. You get emails every day from the group that have things people don't want anymore and are giving away, or I can post stuff I don't want anymore and am willing to freebie out. It's a way kewl group, but you have to use Yahoo mail for it. If it weren't for that, I'd never have any want or need for it at all.

Yahoo does a better job putting spam where it belongs, G-mail can sort social, primary and promotions but it can't seem to do the same for spam.

The team at yahoo are easily socially engineered and will give up your account if someone has a small amount of info. I don't trust them I suggest using a personal email from your own domain.

So, Currently I am stick with Gmail and use it from 3+ Years Since I start working online. Recently I have also heard that Yahoo starts deleting Dormant Yahoomail accounts so, probably Mine was also deleted.

Yep, I just noticed that recently. I've used Yahoo mail as my primary for years and Gmail as secondary. I'm not real happy about the update Yahoo did and the advertising that came with it that everyone was forced to accept, but I still prefer them over Gmail and other options.

Something that just happened I don't like is the link ad at the top of my emails. I just noticed it a couple days ago. That's a bit irritating, but I suppose I could just upgrade and eliminate the advertising altogether.

Yahoo is garbage, a year or two ago they leaked a list of emails and passwords, I thought I changed all of mine but a few months ago someone used that list to get into my online walmart account, bout some bogus book which was sent to my house then emailed himself two $50 gift cards. Of course I stopped it and even turned in his IP address but that one of my biggest problems with Yahoo.
They also spam good mail and let a bunch of spam into my inbox and I'm getting spam mail numerous times every minute there service is trash now a days they're not even trying to compete.
The online thing I don't like about google is their new promotions box I don't think that is helping my email marketing.

Yup, Yahoo Mail has been my main web-based e-mail service for 14 years. I have never had a single problem with them and have found them to be the most reliable and easy to use. Also I have never been inundated with spam, in contrast to Hotmail where the spam always came flooding in after a matter of hours, before I'd even used the thing!

For anything important or personal I always use my ISP's POP3 mail, but for web-based it's Yahoo all the way

I use Y! Mail, Gmail and hotmail (now live mail) and I think the issue with Yahoo Mail uploads is the fact that their servers sometimes get overcrowded with user access. It also depends or your location and the amount of servers close to you that you will be accessing to upload your attachments.

Yahoo! email was, and it still is my measure of last resort. Their interface takes a lot of time to load, sometimes it fails, and it generally doesn't work well, at least for me. I like Gmail much, much more: it feels "light-weight" compared to Yahoo!.

I also recently discovered Window's Live email, which looks great and is very fast.

I have used Yahoo for over 10 years now after giving up on Hotmail. I was very interested in Gmail when I first heard about it, but it was in beta for so long that by the time it was finally out I lost interest. I do have a Gmail account, but I never actually use it. My secondary e-mail is actually AOL, where 99% of the e-mail I get is spam, which I find interesting as a webmaster because I know AOL has a tendency to bounce e-mails back to me, just not actual spammers apparently.

I don't care for the latest change, though. It's fine for current e-mails, but it's not very user friendly when searching for something with a lot of results. I also liked the old login page displaying top stories. Now I don't read Yahoo News any more unless I find a link elsewhere (I don't like that redesign either).

I have had a yahoo account for over 10 years and I do find I need to check spam folder regularly as sometimes personal emails from friends will go there. Also, it is useful when I try to find an email from someone in past, as the search function works pretty well if you know part of the title, email address or even a phrase in the body.
