How to increase sales for clickbank affiliates?

Hello,

Currently I got sales for my page that promoting Clickbank products but its source comes from my visitors on my forum but I want to know from experienced people, can you have any ways to increase sales for CB affiliates ?

Any suggestions ?

The best advice anyone can give you without knowing the details of your promotional efforts would be to track EVERYTHING...

You have to be a compulsive tracker so when those sales do come in, you know were they're coming from and what to scale it up...

  Although it's difficult to provide specific or helpful advice based on vague descriptions. I would focus on building an email list around your forum visitors/users. This way you can promote products over a longer period of time and provide additional information about the products you are promoting.

  You could try the bonus technique.
  
  Tell prospects if they buy X through your affiliate link and then contact you, you will give them bonus product Y. OF course, you have to deliver on your promise in a timely fashion.
  
  If Y is your own product that you sell yourself, you can establish it is worth $47 or $97 or whatever by actually selling some copies to users at that price. Then when you offer it as a bonus, you really are offering some genuine proven value to your customers.
  
  Since you are running a forum, and presumably already have a relationship with many of your forum members, this kind (and other kinds) of personal appeal can work really well.

You're off to a decent start, then, anyway: some people never get as far as "that first sale".

That's a good source, too. I have a forum in one of my niches, and I do very well by promoting ClickBank products to the forum members (by email, of course, not actually inside the forum). So "increasing your forum membership" is perhaps a good plan for you, if/when you can?

you'll generally want to send your traffic to a page where you can collect names and email addresses first. Then follow up with them often to increase the sales.

Follow up is a very important part in any sales process.

Give them marketing materials.... email follow up series, articles, product reviews, ppc keywords and ads, and a fast start guide for success.

Yes. Very simple

Test paid ads and when you make a profit scale it up.

When you can buy traffic for less than your earnings per visitor you win.

Some smart asses would tell you the best way to increase conversions on a Clickbank product is to not sell it through Clickbank.

If you have your own products, you can try to convert each of your paying customer into becoming your affiliate since they will have access to your product already and they will be best representation.

But even before I will get affiliates to promote for me, I personally will test it by myself before it has good conversion before I get them to promote.

I think you need to know what your audiences are. Are they young? Male or female? At school or graduated? The more you know about your audience, the more likely you can bring the right information to them. And this is the best way to make sales.
