Best Converting Clickbank Products to Promote?

I want to promote clickbank products with Facebook ads. The only thing is, I've heard stories from a few other people that they've got 0 conversion from click to purchase of the product. What should I do to prevent this?

  • Do I focus on smaller niches, such as beat making software, or WOW guides?
  • Do I focus on the more popular categories, such as weight loss & 6 packs?
  • Can I have a $1/day budget to find out the conversion with 5 offers for 2 days and pick the best? Will that work? Or too little clicks to tell?
  • Should I give on on Clickbank and do CPA instead?

Please reply, any help is appreciated, ESPECIALLY if you are experienced!
THANK YOU in advance for any help!

You should at least get them to an FB page about the subject of whatever products you're promoting. Then post things that have to do with your niche and get them involved. See if you can opt them into an email list. That's the best way.

Honestly, I don't think FB even allows affiliate products in their ads.

I'd focus on a smaller niche of something that's real hot. Example: Instead of wieghtloss, you could have a page about wieghtloss for women, or a certain type of diet.

Erm you will never know until you have tested it. I do get sales before from direct linking before but you will need to test it for some time before you will be able to get a winning campaign where your money earned is the same as the money that you have invested into the ads. The key is in testing, testing and more testing

On Facebook you can promote any product you like with success but you need to target right audience.
To do that you need to create Facebook fan page around your niche or product and post on a daily basis and feed members with valuable content.

REMEMBER: Push the content not the sale

Inside Facebook fan page create tabs and you can put opt-in form, pictures.. almost everything you like but be careful to play with the rules.

Create an ad and point it to your Facebook fan page but be sure you target right audience (country, ages, interests).
Visit quantcast.com to get some results and ideas of audience.

I agree you need to have the right target audience. When I first started using facebook ads, I wasted loads of money until realized how to do it right. Giving people valuable content is important.

Because you'll be throwing your money away, that's why. Do you really think you're going to get 15,000 legitimate visits for $5?

Visits? You mean views? He's talking about 15k views.

              Worldwide views = 25,000 for $5

              U.S. views = 5,000 for $5

The wrong part in your post isn't the conversion part it's where you promote them. FB isn't really a great way to promote products because people may just not be interested in them. At least, promote them via SEO or via Youtube vids which I think convert way better.

Yes, that is what you have to expect.

You need some money for testing. $500 to $2,000 should be enough
to find a product that converts.

You can cut down the amount that you "waste" on testing by doing more research. Hint: find out what other people promote.

To be honest pick any niche you want.
Just make sure the its something someone can use. Try to put yourself in that niche. Go to forums and see if its something that could be used by people of that niche.
Make sure you have keywords that are not to high in competition.
make sure the product has a colorful and enticing sales page.
would you take time to read or watch a video on that sales page in question?
Its going to take testing and tweaking to get it right.
so don't have high expectations of hitting gold your first time.
expect more to learn something about the product, the niche, the particular demograph in question.
then use that knowledge to perfect your technique then you will start seeing some consistent cashflow. then rinse and repeat. this is how it worked for me. It might have worked differently for other people.

Make your own product. I have a high converting product on clickbank and I do not want to ever look back at a crappy 9 to 5'er

I make my living from clickbank and I love it.

    1) You need to test and track everything.

    2) Upscale and move to PPV, other PPC networks, and larger media if you have a winner.

    3) Purchase banner ads on high traffic forums and blogs. I have 39 ads on different blogs and another 25 or so ads on forums. LOL. Yes, its a pain to track lol, but these are very high converting ads, because they are infront of high targeted traffic. You do not even have to be good ad copy, you just have to test and track it all.

    4) Make sure you are sending them to optin page and use videos, audio and email messages to build relationship, then plug what your offer is.

    5) People love gettin free reports...but here is the kicker, send them free reports with affiliate links, your own stuff, more offers and even higher priced products. When I did this my income doubled literally within a week.

    6) Don't just use PPC, we are 2012 now, and make use of social media, press releases, media, guest posting, and other areas like blog commenting on high traffic sites. You do this, and then track these and see which one is brining you home the bacon, then you cancel the ones not working and you go nuts with the tactic that worked.

Do all this, and you will be well on your way to $300+ a day.

Remember I have my own products. Being an affiliate is good, but you will soon find you are making someone else rich. Make your own products and find affiliates to market it for you....$100 dollars a day will seem like chicken feed when you actually have your own successful products, but for now just do what I said above you should be good to go.

    Good luck!

    !
    1. I would prefer if you focus on smaller niches just like you used beat software as an example. b/c those broad niches has lots of competition unless you very narrow down your target using keyword tools.

    2. Just like i said in no1, weight loss niche is a broad niche, 'weight loss diets for India men' is an good example to narrow your target.

    3. It left to you to choose. both has their good earning potentials if done well.
Remember to include list building to your plan. Thanks

I think it really comes down to any individual campaign.

The best thing you can do is conduct your own research, and split test your own ideas and theories.

Then when you find something with feasibility, you scale it up for all its worth.

I think you should drive traffic to a squeeze page rather than promoting an affiliate offer directly on Facebook. With direct linking conversions are really low (1%). If you have an email list then you can try and promote multiple times & multiple products.

It all depends on your marketing targeting...If the audience is right it will convert really well.

    For exemple.

I was promoting a music samples & loops product from Clickbank (Producer Essentials Pro)couple of days ago on Facebook and I selected to advertise to people that liked pages like fl studio, cubase or logic pro...

    It worked really well!

I used Facebook advertising for promoting affiliate products. But the conversion rate is very low. Usually Facebook ads don't convert well. Because most people don't go their to purchase anything, even though they show interest in a particular topic.

I would suggest you to go for Google Adwords or other CPC networks. Of course, you will have to pay more. But the conversion rate is higher than Facebook ads. But if you still want to use Facebook, I would suggest you to choose a product that everyone wants. That's the only way to success with Facebook ads.

There are many products that interests just everyone. Choose a genuinely good product and see what's in your luck.

you won't get much traffic for a dollar besides facebooks minimum is 5 bucks per day. You split test your ads in the same campaign then...

Beware though that facebook is frowning upon affiliates these days. Your going to have to get a domain and mask it!

If your getting a bunch of clicks and no sales but the product is popular and has a high gravity your problem is that its saturated and you need to separate yourself from your competition.

You do this by creating your own custom landing page!

Can anybody help me here? We currently have a clickbank product with 1000´s of affiliates on board. Clickbank pay them like any other clickbank product but we have recently offered $400 CPA to our offer and I´m trying to track down the clickbank users that already promote us to tell them about this but they are proving to be pretty hard to track down. All I have is their Clickbank ID. Do you know of any way I can track them down? Any suggestions would be very helpful.

Do you usually have a limit on what the minimum profit per sale should be? Most Facebook clicks costs around $.5 and up (CPC), so with a conversion at 1% the profit should at least $50 to break even, or is this too conservative?

Well other people's results wont necessarily be your results. Test and see. Depending on the price of the affiliate product, you may want to direct link, or generate the lead.
