How To Skyrocket Conversions Using Quizzes

Seriously if you're not doing this, you're missing out.

If you have a large authority site in any niche, you might want to consider using a quiz of some sort to funnel traffic through to your main offers.

Here's how it works:

1. You create a quiz around the niche you're in.
Example: Fitness quiz to determine the type of training you should be doing for your body type.
2. Visitors run the quiz
3. At the end it spits out results maybe with some free workout routines, plus a link to a fitness offer that best suits their needs - check out the Clickbank marketplace.
4. I also recommend dropping an opt in form on the results page as it's a great way of building a list fast.

What are the benefits?

Firstly it will greatly improve retention rates. My on site stats skyrocketed after I implemented a quiz.

Secondly, it's ridiculous for conversions. By getting people running through a series of steps, they're highly likely to complete the series by clicking a link to an offer at the end. Make it seem like the last step is that they have to check out the offer you mention on the results page. Like it's the final step or something.

Finally and I already mentioned this, it's an awesome way of building a list.

Check out this service that I started using - tryinteract.com

I have ZERO affiliations with this service just so you know. Plus you don't have to use them. There are plenty of Wordpress plugins that can create custom quizzes and which are easy to integrate onto your site.

Seriously if you have an authority in any niche, I highly recommend you start using a quiz.

I second the use of WP plugins to create quizzes. It's really easy, just type your questions
and answers and create your quiz, which you can then add on any page or post.

You could ask your visitor a few questions and customize the final response based on the
answers. This will boost your conversion rates for sure.

Yeah and another point. Eventually you'll have a ton of data to look at which should show you what most people coming to your site want.

It's a great way of making products tailor made to your audience.

That's right. I use an application (not a plugin) that creates these 'quiz' type squeeze pages.

And depending on the answer the visitor gives to the quiz questions, they will be send a totally customized web page that is based on those quiz answers..

Talk about getting the visitor involved. This blows away every other style of 'squeeze page' out there.

Using pretty scenes or high quality photos on your optin forms is, in my opinion, a waste of time.

You can't get a better visitor involvement device, than 'quiz' style squeeze page. If you set them up right.

So many marketers I know might be good at getting the traffic to their sites, but then they fail miserably with the worn out strategies they use to try to keep the visitor on their sites.

I saw an IMer do a similar thing recently for list building - post a link to a brief 3-question survey on their FB page. The survey is obviously related to the page subject. The 4th question is "what is your email address?". After completing the 3 questions, punters are apparently pre-disposed to blithely enter their email address without even thinking about it. They're then added to his list and sent a freebie as a thank you for filling out the form.

I haven't tried it but the guy seemed to get good results.

Pretty decent tactic right there. I like how it physically gets people to click multiple times as opposed to reading copy or watching a video.

All SEO for me man. I've been doing it for 6 years so traffic's rarely an issue.

That's a good idea, I might implement that around my site. In the past I have tried something similar. I had checkboxes where the users clicked things that applied to them, then I had a plug-in use that information to take them to a page where product links that matched their needs would be shown. This could be applied to a lot of niches, I'll check around WP for plug-ins.
