most sought after analytics?

I am looking to start a business on the side to make extra money to make ends meet.

I am thinking of doing something where I purchase specialized software and use it to run and sell analytical reports to other businesses- for example, competitor analysis reports.

I would really appreciate some insight on the following questions, to help me out

- What type of analysis today is the most in demand and sought after? (is it competitor, website diagnostic, SEO, etc etc...?)

- Is it illegal to use software that I purchase to generate and sell reports to other businesses? Are there any ways to work around this?

    I think, if you do it in big terms, its kinda illegal because you buy the license for you - personal use.


    Also, I cant imagine this would be a good business, as you need to do the same amount of "marketing"-work to get new clients as in other businesses where you sell something.

    So in my experience its better to sell something what is worth the effort of marketing.

    Anyhow, to ask your question I can recommend Traffic Travis as a good competitor analysis software. There is a free version of it, so go and test it out.

    I use software to create products that I sell to individuals and businesses on fiverr. The product is solid and I've had close to 100 sales so far.
    Find something that fills a demand and supply it.
