Clickbank Sponsored Links? Are they worth the money?

Hey guys,

I'm thinking to purchase a sponsored link for my site's CB affiliate program. These ads appear on every page in the marketplace and they seem to be specific to each section. Take a look - the right side of the page:

Has anyone tried these ads? Did you get any results? (= affiliates)

    Apparently, one category ad costs $600/mo ... this is bit much to risk upfront without knowing what to expect.

    So has anyone tried these ads and care to share the results?

    I have never used it, and it seems to me $20 a day is a bit much. But, I am a cheap ******* so take that into consideration.

    If you have sent enough traffic to your product and you know your sales page converts WELL, so will be attractive to an affiliate, I would venture the money only when I had made $1,200 off of my product so i wasn't wasting all my income on it, and was still in pocket.

    That is only my thinking, and I am not suggesting you should do that. But if you like my way of thinking, then go for it. It is there for you to try or not as you choose.

    The product I want to advertise is my membership site. The affiliate program is recurring so it would be a bit difficult for me to estimate the exact ROI. I'd just have to wait and see.

    Anyway, I'll wait for a few more hours to see if there's anyone here who tested these ads...If not, I'll probably give it a try anyway...It can't be a total waste of money, otherwise there wouldn't be so many ads there.

    I'm curious about this as well.

    If you ask several people who tried them you will probably get mixed reviews, because the results depend a lot on the banners they used. Make sure you choose a good banner... $600 monthly is not cheap.
