The U.K. tax collectors will automatically take the tax amount owing from your U.K. bank account each year.

This is completely and utterly wrong. Ignore it.

Tax will be deducted from the interest (if any), but that's it.

You will pay income tax in your country of residence, not the UK. Declare the income in the usual way.

Truly the blind are leading the partially sighted, here. This is just nonsense.

Aurelijus, all your questions above seem to me to ignore the fact that your ClickBank income currently being paid into a UK bank account must surely be declarable and taxable in your own country, if that's where you live while you're earning it? (Unless maybe you live somewhere like the Bahamas, where there are no taxes on income, per se?).

You're not doing that, here, though. You're asking people one of whom is already grotesquely misinforming you, and that's what typically happens when you try to take tax or legal advice in a forum. People doubtless mean well, but they may not know what they're talking about. As indeed I may not. That's why you need to ask a qualified accountant.

I agree completely with Alexa, the UK tax system can be very complex. If in doubt contact the Inland Revenue. They will be able to clarify whether you can register as self employed as a non-resident. I suspect the answer is no. It is not worth the serious consequences of making a tax error just to save a few clickbank fees!

      Hi

      I agree with Alexa.

Asking for taxation advice on a forum and expecting to get correct answers is just not going to happen!

The only person qualified to answer that question is an accountant, and probably one where you are trying to be seen to be working from too.

Do not try to do things that are not honest because you will get found out and it is simply not worth it.

You could always call and ask HM Revenue and Customs Helpline, they will cetainly advise you what you need to do.

      Hope this helps

      Ian
